Reviews for DoG Street Pub in Williamsburg, VA
Excellent service and food, reasonable prices. They have an excellent bottled root beer based on a colonial recipe.
Great experience at dinner tonight! I love finding unique items on a menu to try. My dinner partner and I immediately agreed on... the Rueben croquettes as an appetizer and they did not disappoint. They were served with a house dipping sauce that was a uniqueblend of savory and salty. The outside was perfectly crispy and the inside meaty and wonderful. I got the Dog Street pub burgerand fries which were all great and my daughter got the brat burger which she loved. (I tasted and felt the patty was a bit densefor my taste but again she loved it) along with some extra tasty Brussel sprouts which seemed to be cooked in a broth. Would100% return to try other items on the menu! Extensive drink menu too! Read more

Once you enter from the steps (no wheelchair ramp) you're warmly greeted. At the time we went, seating for 4 adults and 2... littles one was quick. They have a decent menu which is not too big. Items such as Lamb, sea food, hot dog and others are onthis menu. Fresh and enjoyable flavors, hot from the kitchen, and decent portions in this clean establishment. If I'm in theneighborhood again I would probably stop in. Read more
Wonderful food, helpful and friendly staff in a great atmosphere. This is the best restaurant in Colonial Williamsburg. They... have several good gluten free options as well. Read more
The selection of beers and drinks are good. We ordered the fish and chips, and although crispy the meal sat in liquid (oil)... making the fish literally fall out of the battered outside and made a lot of the fries soggy. Our server was difficult to find, but thankfully the guy clearing the tables around us was very helpful - he either found our waitress for us, or got what weasked for himself. Read more
In Williamsburg for the holidays. Stopped to warm up and have a bite and brew. Enjoyed the outdoor fire before being seated at... the back bar. Had a local Ale Werks beer and Diet Coke with our Rueben croquettes. There were 6 croquettes - enough to share, served with a dipping sauce. They were a bit dry. but served hot. Personally think they needed more sauerkraut to make thembetter. We also ordered the worst side salad I have ever had and certainly not worth the $5 charge for each one. That's why Irated this experience as I did. Service was ok, had to get the attention of the busy bartender to ask for silverware after foodwas delivered. Read more
Loved this Place! I had the Bangers and Mash, which was great, but for me the star of the show was the side of collards. So... delicious! It's located in a former bank built in the early 1930's and still has original features, from the flooring to thelight fixtures. Loved it! Read more
