We stopped here for lunch on our way to W&M based on the reviews and we were so happy we did. The chicken is excellent, but the... biscuits are to die for. I haven't had a biscuit that good since my grandmother passed. Stop in. The food is cooked fresh toorder. We also ordered a shrimp Po boy and the shrimp was fresh & delicious...not frozen. Newly opened chicken place. The chicken was delicious my granddaughter had the cabbage she loved it along with her hamburger. I... thought it was funny to see Kool-Aid on the menu really brought back happy memories for me. The place nice and spacious. Okay... Everybody reading the reviews are saying what's all the hype about in these reviews. Well the real story is all the food... is homemade and delicious!! Every customer that was sitting eating raved about their food. I had the pork chops dinner..two nicesized pork chops with sides of mashed potatoes and yams and they were fantastic!! Other people in the restaurant raved abouttheir own food also, the Whiting, Catfish and of course the freshly made fried chicken.. All the food fresh made and lookeddelicious. One of the most pleasant experiences about my short wait for fresh cooked food was meeting Corey himself. He is veryproud of his family and the recipes and great quality of food, and rightfully so!!! Go ahead and try this great little placebefore it gets on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives because it will!!! I was visiting Williamsburg from out of town. I kept hearing rave reviews about Corey's so I wanted to try. I ordered the... whiting with yams and potato salad. The fish was not very well seasoned. The only thing I liked were the yams. My daughterordered the seafood platter. She said the crab cake was more breading than anything. I guess we are too critical about theseafood being from Maryland, but I digress. The service was excellent. Read more
