We stopped in for a fun times during our stay in Williamsburg. The lanes were very good, oiled. Up to date equipment. Balls... were very used but that didn't matter as we were there foe fun. The bar was excellent!!! The bar tender hooked us up! Theworkers were busy attending customers and constantly cleaning. Price for play was a tad bit expensive but again, we had fun. Read more
We had a great time. The food was excellent and it was a great way to escape the busyness of life.
What a let down. The place needs some much needed TLC. The bowling balls are all chipped and damaged that you can hear the flop... and thunk noise when the ball is trying to roll. Food is extremely expensive and not even worth the cost. I even asked themanager on duty if the food brought over was correct, she said "the picture on the menu is just for advertising", you areliterally paying top money for happy meals, and happy meals is being nice for a comparison. My grandson and I bowled 3 games today and we had so much fun! The staff was friendly, courteous and respectful and the lanes... were well maintained and the bathrooms were spotless! We will definitely be back! Read more
We came on a Wednesday evening and it wasn?t crowded; however, we were placed in a lane very close to a large party. The staff... was accommodating to our move request, which was nice. The snack bar is like the snack bars of the past providing the nostalgiaand the snacks one would expect at a bowling alley. There are 40 lanes and so you?re able to spread out and everyone wasrespectful of space. My only issue with the lanes is that there were many groups of teenage boys who would quite literally throwtheir balls in to the lane. It was like they had to show off that they had single arm strength to throw their balls. It wasextremely distracting and inconsiderate of the other bowlers and those who will use that lane in the future. No staff waspresent as free floaters, so no one said anything to these guys. Their ball throwing was a danger to those aroundthem?especially the little 4 year old trying to bowl next to us. Aside from this, the lanes are well lit and clean. We had a good time bowling!!! It wasn't crowded either. The employees are friendly. They have some good specials too.
We had a fantastic time at this bowling alley! It was clean, well maintained, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and... accommodating. We were looking for something fun to do on am overnight stop on our way to the beach and we certainly foundit! We were treated so well by the staff and had a great night bowling. I would highly recommend AMF alleys, but especially thisone in Williamsburg. We will definitely stop again when in the area. Read more
We had a party there for our son that didn't turn out well. Even with all the effort Wendy put in she was a rock star. The other... lady pretty rude. No worries though. Logan the manager contacted me immediately to apologize. He more that made up for it andmade sure we had a good experience at his facility. Wendy and Nisha (sp) are very attentive and check on their guest to ensurethat they have everything they need. I would recommend this bowling arena for sure. P.s. the food there is really good.
