I was in town making knife rental exchange and as you know we try to visit a few new spots while we are here. About 5 mins away... we decided to have lunch. OMG…..not quite 2pm when we walk in. Busy, a good sign I think. We ended up at the bar and serverLunch B takes great care of us. No name on recipe. Little wine, HEAR ME NOW….,Award winning Lunch B said: New England ClamChowder. God she was right. The best I have ever had. We both also got the chicken salad. A very healthy portion too and thesalad that came along with it was great, DUE to some killer dressing that added. After a little visit to Williamsburg this past December we glanced at Blue Talon Bistro’s menu and added it our list of places... we need to dine at! I am so glad we found this gem and that we dined here today! The charcuterie and pate board was amazing.Lovely sauces and meats to accompany all the pickled goodness! Then our waiter was great! Jared helped me from making the wrongchoice. I wanted the mushroom pasta but he warned us of a strong cashew taste, so I went with the meatloaf, which wasincredible!!! Great location. You must try one of their absinth drinks and the aviation cocktail. Drinks are beautiful and strong! Food was... amazing. Escargot was served in a delicious sauce without shells. Chicken & mushroom crepes, croque madame, the bistro burger,and the crème brûlée were delicious. The ambiance was very pleasant and my friends and I had so much fun. Server could havebeen more attentive, but overall amazing time. Highly recommended! Read more
This place is amazing. The ambiance, service, and most of all the food. My clam chowder was so delicious, not thick and creamy... like your typical stuff. Whole clams too. Got a Manhattan, which uses Copper Fox's (excellent local distillery) rye whiskey. Thespecial Ruben was, WOW. They use kielbasa sausage instead of brisket! The restrooms are beautiful too, something I alwaysappreciate during travel and vacation. The wait is worth coming here! Read more
Went for our first time tonight for our Anniversary. Very cute place. Excellent food & exceptional staff. We ordered a few... drinks before our meal. I had the November Whip & my husband had the Nut Brown Ale. Both very good. For our entrees we had theHouse Made Meatloaf & the Beef Short Rib. Also ordered dessert, I had the Gateau Breton (which was the best dessert I’ve everhad!) & my husband had the Copper Foxy Milkshake. I would definitely recommend coming here.
