Decent food. Not very authentic besides the corn tortillas. Rice was short grain and beans were kind of soupy. I had the Al... pastor Pork tacos. Did not taste or look like any I have ever had. It was a little dry even though there was a good sauce on theside. It was also red like food coloring of a Chinese crispy pork. It wouldn't be such a low rating if it wasn't over $20 fortakeout. Haven?t eaten here in three years. Now we remember why. Overpriced unflavored Mexican food. Barely a 1/4 cup of unflavored... rice and a brown soupy something that we think were refried beans. Boring red sauce on the enchiladas. Greasy tortilla chips. We?ll look elsewhere next time. Read more
Bought $60 worth of food for my boyfriend and I. It was worth $0. The steak wasn?t steak. It was some other form of beef that... I?m not aware of. There?s no taste to the food. Moved to Traverse City from Southern California...we KNOW Mexican food. This is by far the best Mexica food you will get in this... area! Not any of those bigger restaurants even come close to comparing. You must try! Read more
I was so happy to find this place. Being a recent transplant from Chicago, I've been craving good Mexican food...and here it... is. Stopped in for lunch after running errands. It did take a while to get our food, but it was worth it. There's a nicesitting area out back where we let our dog out and sat and ate. My only criticism was the beef was a little salty for my taste. I travel for work frequently, and the one time I?m here for leisure had the worst customer service here. These people have no... common sense, you would think if I?m buying $80 of catering for food I would get chips to come with it? No they told me theywere $6 for chips that have been sitting on the rack for a week, to conclude we get back to our Air B and B to find out we weremissing our $6 salsa. We called and they said they gave it to us, then they called back saying they did forget it. Over priced,very little food, this place is over rated. Never again. What a joke. Read more
I ordered a Mexican platter with what said fajita steak. What I got was mince meat with no flavor. I tried to make a taco and ... then I found plastic wrap in my meat. I was disgusted good thing I opened it before I left. The beans were black and soupy andthe rice looked like they put half the seasoning in it. Yuck don't subject yourself to this. If I could give it no stars Iwould. Way too overpriced to taste that bad . Read more
