I'm a little late it writing this review but it needs to written. The service at this restaurant was one of the best experiences... I have yet had. Everything on the menu looked so good that I couldn't decide what to order. The chef came out and offered tomake a seven course dinner with his choice of different menu options and wine pairings so that I could try as much food aspossible. Superb golf, on the challenging to hard side, very under rated. Some F&B to rival any club anywhere

Definitely one of the best golf experiences you can have in Northern Michigan. Course is immaculate and tough.

We were able to play Lochenheath earlier this week through the courtesy of a member there. It was a great experience all... around. The course itself is interesting and challenging without being brutal. Greens were top notch. The scenery is gorgeousas pretty much every hole offers a view of Grand Traverse Bay. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that we could have usedmore sand in the traps (which is ironic, as the entire surrounding are is essentially a giant sand dune!). All in all though agreat golf course and a great golf experience! We had lunch after our round and the food and ambiance were both great. Amongthe better golf course meals I have had. Finally, a big shout out to the PEOPLE there! We were welcomed with both courtesy andenthusiasm, the wait staff was excellent and even joined in out group's banter seamlessly. All of us agreed that is was a greatexperience and one of the highlights of our trip. Read more
