Rods is a great small town steak house experience. We eat there every year when we visit. It's closed now, and we were... disappointed we had to go elsewhere. The other places just don't have the vibe that Rods does. I hope they re-open soon. Read more

We came in right before the dinner crowd but customer service was really great! Yes they are short staffed so it can take a... little longer to get someone over but honestly I think they did a great job. I had the Rod?s Special Charred Steak with mashedpotatoes and brown gravy and picked the soup which was beans and ham. The Rod?s Special Margarita was mixed really nice and wasnot overdone in alcohol. My fiancé had the prime rib and everything else as me. He loved the prime rib and I really enjoyed mysteak and everything else honestly. They worked really hard to make sure we were happy with everything and one day we would loveto come back. Read more

The atmosphere is so much fun. The matching plates, menus, decor, just everything is the brown bull pattern. I do not regret... choosing Rod's for dinner the night we stayed in Williams. However, I probably would not eat there if I am ever in the areaagain. It was not the worst steak house I've visited, but it was nowhere near the best. The food was just...Meh. The customerservice was not the best. Even with available tables, we waited for quite a bit before anyone in the establishment evenacknowledged we were present. And we were not the only people there in the foyer, there was another family who were there beforewe arrived. But hey... there was plenty to look at in the foyer. And again, the motif was fun. I would recommenced Rod's forthe experience, my teenagers like the adventure in eating there. Read more

Great place. 5 of us @ around 6:30 pm on Black Friday. Waited no more than 20 mins. Server was awesome, very accommodating and... the food did not disappoint. Our recommendations are: The Ribeye, green beans and french fries. Only 2 tables can accommodatemore than 4 people, a little longer wait but still very reasonable. Read more

Went here for my birthday tonight. It was amazing from the moment we walked in to the time we left. Great wait staff, great... food and even a slice of cheesecake drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce as a nice birthday surprise. Poppers were good, saladswere great and their blue cheese dressing is really good. Then our entrees i had the TBone w/ baked potato and Scott hadthe lobster tail with prime rib both were cooked to perfection. Thank you Rod's for making my dinner so very special. Reallywas the best steak we have had in a long time. Read more

Dark, cozy restaurant on historic Route 66 since 1946. Steaks well cooked but cuts different than we're used to. Tender and... cooked properly. Nice sized potato and salad was really well mixed and fresh. Waiter attentive but didn't pester us. Realknowledgeable. Read more

First stop Steak House. I have been hungry for Steak for a couple of weeks. We stopped in Williams for dinner. We ordered... Friend Zucchini, split a ribeye steak and yum! The fried zucchini was light and very tasty. Their homemade rach was very smoothand perfect for the perfect zucchini. The ribeye was big enough for two. It was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. I cutthe steak with my butter knife. It came with baked potato salad and homemade hot rolls. We left full but not stuffed. I wouldstop here again and again and again. Read more
