The atmosphere of this adorable family owned Thai restaurant in the middle of Williams is a juxtaposition of 50s diner and... homemade scratch Thai food. Its odd but works. I was greeted by a wonderful young lady, seated and handed menus. My party of 2,ordered an appetizer Thai Shrimp Wraps, Chicken Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice and orange chicken. I was asked if I wanted aheat level from 1 to 5. The food was brought out in 12 minutes, not one dish, all of them. Ingredients were fresh, flavorswere excellent and the server was constantly checking on us and topped off our drinks. Constant foot traffic picking up takeout by locals shows me this lovely place serves good food and addresses a niche in a city dominated by steaks, burgers dinerfood. I would definitely return. It's a weird combination of route 66 diner and Thai food. We had Thai food and it was quite tasty and came in large portions.... The orange chicken was quite tasty even though the sauce was not as thick as I'm used to. The beef curry was nicely flavored andspiced though, again, the sauce was a bit thinner than I usually get. The spring roll was quite good and the waitress wasawesome. Read more

We stopped here for both lunch and dinner on our way to & back from Grand Canyon NP. That?s how much we loved the food and... service here! It seemed like a small family run restaurant with excellent food and quick and great service. We tried thepineapple fried rice, Thai curry, dragon fruit boba tea and loved everything. Restrooms were maintained clean too. I will highlyrecommend stopping here for a meal if you?re around. Read more

During out week visiting the area, stopped here 2 times. Both times the food was excellent. Well flavored and spiced nicely. The... only reason for dropping 1 star was our takeout order (2nd visit) was missing one appetizer. We did get a different entreeinstead, but it wasn't to our liking (not bad just an entree we would never order). Would have preferred the appetizer. Checkyour order before you leave if you get takeout. Recommended Thai food in the area. Read more

We came here with a group of 5 off the highway looking for a quick bite to eat in Williams, AZ. We found this Thai restaurant... and had a hard time finding their address and menu online. Apparently they just moved down the street and relocated in anAmerican style diner. To help others, I've shared the picture of the building outside as well as the menu. In terms of ordering,it wasn't clear where to order. Eventually someone came by and offered us a menu. They were really sweet and actually fromThailand. In terms of food, we got the pineapple fried rice (chicken, pork, and beef), regular fried rice, pad thai, spicynoodle, and onion rings. We were disappointed they didn't have any broad noodle dishes (pad ki mao, pad see ew) due to supplyissues in the area. The portion size was larger than we expected. One entree could feed 1-2 people. Our favorite food was thepineapple fried rice with beef. Our next favorite was the pad Thai. Our least favorite was the spicy noodle because it hadpicked up very little flavor and didn't come with enough vegetables. We would recommend this restaurant if you are in the areaif you temper your expectations. Coming from New York City, we have much more selection of restaurants and have higherexpectations. Read more

********************************** Sep 2021 Review: Dara Thai Twisters is located in a small town of Williams AZ which is ~1hr... drive from Grand Canyon National Park South Rim, on historic Rte 66. The food was good. We tried variety of options on couple ofvisits and the best I liked was "Arizona Heatwave". They have decorated the place nicely. They also had a few nice options infruit drinks which you should also give a try. ********************************** Read more
