Reviews for Simple Goodness Soda Shop in Wilkeson, WA
I?ve been there over at least 30 times because I live near. Usually my cousin and I go every weekend and they are more than kind... to us. I?ve never had a complaint at all. Their ice cream is absolutely amazing, and for two grilled cheeses and two huge icecreams in a cup, it was only $17. They always give me and my cousin a very very generous amount, more than enough, and we bothsometimes have to share because of how much they give us! Some places just give you a small scoop, but for them, they give youmore than the bowl. This one time me and my cousin got at least the height of two of their cups size of Ice cream. Again, verygenerous, and very thankful for their patience :D In this photo I had already at some. Read more
A hidden gem up in Wilkeson, this place is rustic and adorable and a great spot to hang out and have an absolutely delicious ice... cream for a reasonable price. The young woman at the front counter was lovely and my family and I had a great time. They evenhave a cute kids corner with chalk board on the lower walls, very creative and positive use of the space. Read more
Our family enjoys attending the Thursday Open Mic Night. It is a comfortable venue for people who are beginning to to share... their musical and performing talents publicly. With the nice weather, the outside yard is great for parents who want to sip acold beer yet have wiggly children. Dogs are also welcome outdoors. Read more
We had the best family experience at the soda shop! It is such a cute family friend restaurant that has yummy food and... milkshakes. My kids loved the yard games and the coloring area. I really love that it?s two sisters holding this place down! Thecocktails are amazing. Read more
Neat decor and vibe, definitely feels like a unique experience. Not sure quite how to describe the decor, but it's certainly not... the cookie-cutter interior of chain restaurants that all look the same. What's inside? A moosehead on the wall, a table with achain link around it, a chalkboard wall that kids can draw on, signs with sayings like "Not going to throw away my shot," asplit tree table, kendema like games on the tables, bull horns on the wall, couches to relax on with end tables between them, acreaky wooden floor, etc. I'm glad we went here. The staff were young and friendly, and the service really quick. I ordered thetomato soup with croutons and LOVED it. The soup was chunky and the croutons big and homemade. The grilled cheese sandwich wasalso good. The title of the place ("Soda shop") is a bit misleading. While there is ice cream and soda, it's also a diner andhad ample alcoholic beverage options as well. I definitely recommend going here. You won't regret it! It's actually a memorableexperience, unlike so many other restaurants. Read more
We stopped for ice cream after a day of hiking. The service was good and friendly, the ice cream was generous (1 scoop was... enough for me!) and delicious. The waffle cone was homemade. The indoor space looks nice, we went outside where there is plentyof space and seats. We did not try them but I saw that they serve yummy looking cocktails and even offer a flight of cocktailsto try multiple at once ( I love the idea!). Nice little place in a cute old town, worth a stop. Read more
Super cozy, kid friendly, great hospitality. The quality of the sandwiches and food is all that. You don?t get good stuff like... that these days, but you do at the soda shop. Traditional things with a twist! And the simple goodness sisters syrup is to diefor. Great place to drive for a bite, stop next door for killer pizza to take home and they even have a cool coffee shop. Don?tforget to try their ice cream too!!!! Thanks for building such a cool place! We will be back! Read more
We came in to eat our pizza from next door. Very cool that they do that! But we got apps, sodas, and milkshakes at SGSS. ... Their food was FAR better than the pizza joint next door. Great service. Read more
