This is the best pizza in town. It always has been. The crust is cooked perfectly. The pizza is never greasy like some other... boardwalk places. My father has been a Sam's lover for 30 years... I am a Sam's lover...and now my little boy had his first Sam's pizza..verdict... is out, he loves it! Warning before you go: Cash only! Theres an ATM inside, worst case scenario when dont carry cash like me. Lots of indoor... seating, it was nice. We sat by the window so we got to watch outside as we waited. Our waitress was very nice and service wasquick! The pizza was good. Where is it?!? I can?t find it!! Somebody help me! Someone hand me a magnifying glass! Or maybe a pair of binoculars! Yeah!... Binoculars will do. Something that will help me find my pizza which is lying somewhere on my plate. When I tell you this slicewas microscopic, I?m not joking!! I went up to the counter with an empty stomach and a full wallet, and came out with an emptystomach and an empty wallet!! Sam?s will have the balls to charge you $2.75 for a stick of a slice and say bon appétit. THENERVE!! What triggered my anger was way back in June when I came down, only to find out that they took away the coupons on theboxes. I mean?. come on. How broke does Sam?s family have to be to not be able to afford giving a free pie away to every 12thpie paying customer?! Cheap skates!! Btw, there?s plenty of affordable, full slices of pizza on the boardwalk such as: Mack?spizza, Hot spot, joes, 3 brothers, and way more! My family and I visited here on 7-25-22 around 7:30pm for dinner. We were looking for a cheaper alternative than restaurant... dining. They are usually super crowded with a long line waiting to get in to sit down and eat. We lucked out and was able towalk in and get seated right away, place was still packed. We opted for half cheese and half pepperoni pizza. The pizza waspretty good, not the best that I ever had and not the worst. The pizza did have a lot of crust which sucked. Pepperoni?s weren?tevenly distributed across the pizza. The pricing on the drinks are similar to restaurant?s but at Sam?s Pizza Palace there areNO refills which sucks especially when you are dining in. Pizza with 4 drinks costs us $31.50 which was our cheapest meal yetwhile being in Wildwood. Read more
Jersey shore pizza is one of those special things that is difficult to recreate elsewhere. It?s the chew and texture of the... slice, the dollops of grease on the paper, the interior of the restaurant which needs to be updated, the fountain soda, etc. Sam?s Pizza Palace checks all of those boxes. Don?t expect fancy, but expect a good, solid, NJ slice served by teenagers andmade by people who have probably made 1000s of pies over the summer. THE BEST PIZZA AT THE BOARDWALK!!! I gave this place 5 stars and if I could I would give it more! The pizza's are so delicious!... You can not compare it with any other.
