Our favorite place in Wildwood. First place I had really good oysters and have been a fan since. I had the Seafood a la Vodka... and my husband had the rib eye. We loved both! Service was great! Ceasar salad was a little bland, had to ask for moredressing. We love the view of the water. Read more
My friend and I chose this restaurant after another one we stopped at was really busy. What a great surprise! We were seated... immediately outside next to the marina. Our server was friendly and quick. I had the Mahi and she had the grouper..the bestmeals I have had in a while. The atmosphere is beachy and shaded by palms. We will definitely return! Read more
I wasn't sure what to expect since there are a lot of mixed reviews, but we had a great experience. We got there early, around... 5:30, and only had a 20 minute wait. We had drinks on the deck and the atmosphere was great. Our waitress was attentive and thefood was delicious. The only negative is that it is pretty pricey. Read more
Such a great dinner. Wait-staff and bartenders were fantastic. Front of house hostess seemed to hate her life, but that was my... only issue. First time bringing my 6-year-old to an adult restaurant and he loved it. Overall, food was great and came outquick. Staff even knew it was best to bring my son's food out first. Beach Creek is a place I've wanted to try our last few trips down there and for whatever reason never made it. We came on the... first day of our trip. We were seated "outside" but it was under a canopy and we we're right next to the building where theservers go in/out so it wasn't what you expect when sitting outside. Our server was good. Greeted on time, order correct, appsbefore entree, drinks refilled, no dessert pitch tho. Appetizers Garlic Steamers - about a dozen littlenecks in a garlic sauce.The quantity while never enough is on par with what most places give. The sauce was more like a soup and I don't think anyonewould complain if it was reduced by half. New England Clam Chowder - NE Clam Chowder is my favorite soup and Beach Creeks wasvery good. Fresh. Right amount of salt content. Good amount of clams and passed the thickness test. Entrees Maryland Crab Cakes- While the presentation was sub-par the crab cakes were very good. Could have been seared more but great flavor. The sides wereaverage and the remoulade went well with the crab. Delicious doesn?t even start to describe how amazing the food was here at Beach Creek oyster bar and Grill. I had gotten the... chicken Chesapeake as an entrée and it was filled with flavor. Not to mention the portion sizes here are massive. Be sure tocome early because this place fills up very quickly. And my suggestion is to come at sunset because the views will bespectacular. First of all, this was labor day evening. We had a 25 minute wait, which was fine. The service was very slow, labor... shortage maybe. Clam chowder was disappointing as it was a bit overpowered by bacon and clams under represented. Clams casinowere also disappointing, lots of bread crumbs, couldn't find bacon, onion, or bell pepper represented. Crab cakes were OK, thesauce was almost overwhelming for the delicate taste of crab. The scallops were very nicely seared and the sauce delicate andtasty. The bread and butter came with a bowl of bruscetta which was both a surprise and tasty. Dessert... creme brulee wasgood, lots of vanilla beans! At $14 though, it was not worth it. I make it at home regularly and know what it is worth. Read more
