Had my first dining experience at this restaurant last night and - although the space was a bit tight - the food was absolutely... delicious. We started with fresh homemade sliced bread. For the appetizer, we had the meatballs and polenta which, together, tasted like homemade comfort. They were so fresh and familiar. This was quickly followed by a Caesar salad with a very uniquelytasty dressing. For a main I had the Shrimp Scampi and it was easily the best shrimp scampi I've ever tasted. When asked, ourserver shared that everything (bread, meatballs, pasta, dressings and sauces) is home made in the basement. It tasted so freshthat none of that was surprising to me. Will definitely be back!! Read more

The food is consistently amazing. The staff is friendly and welcoming. What a gift for the community! Pasta is homemade and... the marinara is phenomenal. I haven?t had anything that wasn?t incredible. I?m working my way through the menu! Read more

First time customer. We went for a late Friday evening dinner. The service was very good. The food was good but may have lacked... a little salt, which is easily fixed. Dessert was a highlight. Everything was delicious. Read more

Been here two times, first time I went the food was outstanding but the service only okay. The second time I went the service... was better but the food was only okay. To be honest, the restaurant has the potential to be a good one, but I think there are afew kinks that they are working out. In time I think it will get better. Read more

Never!!! Food and service were a zero. Thought I took the safe route. Lasagna which was warm and cheese wasn't giving melted. It... was giving cool and sat in the window vibe. Waitress seemed to forget us even though she sat us right next to the register.Never!!! Yall want a good place. Milano's fresh, authentic and good service....and flavor. Read more

This place was incredible. Best chicken Francese I?ve ever had (don?t tell my mother). I literally could?ve drank the sauce and... the homemade pasta was amazing. Don?t know what these people are thinking giving anything less than 5 stars. And to the ladycomplaining about non vegan options at an authentic Italian restaurant? get a grip Read more

Via Appia was absolutely astonishing from start to finish. We did wait a while so I highly suggest making a Reservation right... now. The Chicken Piccata and Chicken Francese were amazing. You can certainly tell it's homemade with a very professional flare.I had to get a to go bag but couldn't pass up dessert which was so light I felt better after having it. I HIGHLY recommend ViaAppia! Read more
