Had the sampler plate with a stuffed baked potato. The pulled chicken was a little dry, but the barbecue sauce brought it to... life. The brisket was melt in your mouth. Had leftovers to take home...a piece of potato and the pulled pork.. The beers camewith frozen mugs...a completely different taste. The server, Ashley, was fantastic, attentive but not overbearing. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Right away, the waitress was extremely rude. Almost rushing us to choose our drinks... and when I asked for lemon in my drink she seemed a bit irritated about it. She never had a smile on her face one time. My bfjust got out of prison and I feel so bad this was his first meal out. Because the food was terrible. It took not even 10 minutesto bring out 3 sampler plates and the loaded baked potato, which in my mind means the food was not fresh. The pulled pork tastedlike it came out of a dog food can. The potato was not cooked all the way. There was 4 of us and none of us ate much of our foodand we did not even care to take it to go. This was a horrible experience for our first time here and we will never be back.I?ve seen multiple comments about a rude waitress, I think it?s time to hire some new employees. Best brisket ever! Great little joint to enjoy a good meal and cold beer!
My wife and I were very pleased with our experience. I got the stuffed baked potato. The pulled pork had a very good flavor and... the potato was perfectly baked. She got the Hassayampa Burger with sweet potato fries. Both were very good. The restaurant wasclean and the service good. It was easy to find and there is a decent amount of parking beside and behind it. My biggest gripe-Why do you not have Sweet Tea?!?! Read more
If you happen to find yourself in Wickenberg do not miss the opportunity to eat this BBQ. We tried both the brisket and pulled... pork sandwich which were equally delicious. Sides were fried okra! And cowgirl beans which was a medley of sweet beans.Delightful. Also if that is not enough they make their own prickly pear bbq sauce which will make you want to lick your plate.If at all possible save room for the pecan bread pudding with vanilla ice cream of course. I watched this place go up last year. The food is fantastic. The service was outstanding. Restroom are fresh and clean. Nice... quiet Western atmosphere. I've been here a half dozen times in the past few months. Their meals are cooked just the way you wantit. I've tried a few different but I really like the Hassayampa Burger with the pulled pork on top man that hits the spot. Checkout this little Hidden Gem before everybody else find out. Read more
