So I finally found this place. You have to come on special nights--tonight they were getting ready for an event and I snuck in... and took some pix. NOT what you'd expect to find inside of Side Pockets! The door to get in is actually a bookcase that youwouldn't even notice if it wasn't open. Really cool. Pix on the wall of Wichita from waaaay back--they are set inside windowsand lit up. Very cool. Can't wait to come back and have a Moscow Mule (bartender said they have lot's of different kinds). We finally got to check out brass tap tonight. It?s definitely was NOT what we imagine it would be like. Not much about this... place even resembled a speakeasy environment. Maybe we have high expectations or this place completely missed the mark! It was awaste of our time and excitement. Although the side pocket area was bigger than we thought it would be. Read more
