Today was one of the worst experiences I have recieaved from papa johns I had ordered food on the app, waited an hour said it... was being delivered, but 20 min later they cancelled my order I called the store, waited on hold for 10 min, and was hung up onI called back and someone answered I explained I had waited over an hour for my order to be canceled where she told me they hadused doordash to deliver my order and they had voided it which gives me know reason as to why, ( my address is spot on the gps)then told they could redo the order but it would take another hour I understand they are short and they used another deliverydriver but I think this is ridiculous I wasn't the one to cancel and yet no driver or customer service called to give me areason and wanted me to wait another hour for the food I had order an hour and 20 min before that! This is the worst PIZZA I've ever bought in my life. The first time I called and told them I wanted the WORKS, thin crust. And... they sent me a pizza, large with about 18-24 piece's of sausage. Some of my favorite brand of pizza, but never order delivery from this store. Our order is in line with other reviews; delivery... was over 30 minutes late and cool enough we had to warm it up in the microwave. No apologies or explanations for the delay. Thereceipt showed ?pizza out? over 45 minutes before delivery. I?m sure it?s Covid related staffing for the benefit of the doubt,but for my money it?s worth ordering pizza that tastes fresh when you get it. The pizza was okay. Probably because it was done 20 minutes before I picked it up. That was due to the fact that they do not... deliver 3.5 miles away. Apparently its "too far" for the delivery drivers at papa John's to drive. Worst experience yet. Willdefinitely question whether or not I order next time from them. Once my order was received I called Papa John?s Store #1242 where my order came from and spoke with Kendra and explained that my... cheeseburger pizza was not satisfactory at all. That the quality & appearance of the pizza was unsatisfactory. I asked if shecould come collect the pizza and bring out a new pizza. She proceeded to state there was nothing she could do about it and thatif I wanted a free pizza I needed to call back in the morning. I asked her if there was anything she could do to help me tonightand she said no, once again. I explained that as a repeat customer she could clearly see in my history I am a frequent customerand I?ve never complained before. That I was simply looking for a solution. She stated that there?s wasn?t anything she could doat all again and hung up on me. I was completely appalled by this. I called back and asked for the manager and she said she wasthe manager and there wasn?t anything she could do and if I didn?t want anything else then I was going to talk to the dial toneand hung up on me again. I called back and insisted to speak to someone tonight that could help me and she hung on me for thethird time. I?ve never received such unprofessional and demeaning service in my life. I am baffled and offended and most of alldisappointed. Terrible service. The team here were outstanding. A small mixup in communication (likely my fault) caused a minor inconvenience for me and my... grandkids, but your person owned it and offered a free pizza to us. Totally unexpected, probably the best customer service I'veexperienced in Wichita. Read more
