Absolutely disgusting place to eat. We ordered a meat topped baked potato and two meat dinner. All the food was cold and the... baked potato wasn't even cooked. They literally took an uncooked baked potato, cut it open, and put cold meat on it. The frieswere cold and soggy. Whole kitchen full of people just doing the absolute worst they could. Do not ever eat here for bbq. Thereare far better places in Wichita. Read more
Usually go to another location but tried 21st/Tyler location today and we were very disappointed. They gave me the wrong side... and my husband ordered the 3 meats and only got 1 meat. The guy at the drive thru didn't speak to us at all. The food was not asgood as the other locations either. Read more
A couple years ago we visited our daughter who used to live here. It was a different location. (I guess there?s a few)We weren?t... that hungry but we decided to share a two meat meal. The ribs and turkey were enough for us along with beans and mashedpotatoes. The staff was friendly. I gave it 4stars because there were a few bothersome flies and we were inside. The food is usually great but the meat never seems to be hot for to go meals. I always ask for the meat on the side so I can... warm it up when we get home . This was in the Chicken from today's kids meal. So glad I always check my kids foods first youjust never know. The taco salads and potatoes are yummy ! We have eaten at many of the HW locations around town. This one has the best food, when they're on. About 10% of the time,... they're garbage. Yesterday's visit was the most disappointing we have experienced at any HW location in time. We ordered aloaded baked potato with pulled pork and a 3 meat dinner with ribs, pulled pork, chicken, fries, beans and added a third sidedof mac and cheese. We specified that the chicken needed to be on a separate plate due to a food allergy. After an unusuallylong wait, I went to stand near the counter as we were the only folks waiting for our food. I noticed that our order had thechicken was on the same place, along with several things that the chicken cannot come into contact with. I notified the dudeprepping the food that it had to be on a separate plate. He turned to fix another plate and a lady came up and prepared theexact same plate, the exact same was as it was the first time. The first guy corrected her and send me on my way with thetray. When I got to the table, my wife informed me that the potato did not have any pulled pork on it. Back to the counter wego. When I finally got to arranging my kiddos meal, it was discovered that the fries were missing. Back to the counter for thefries. I FINALLY got to take a bite of my own food, only to realize that the texas toast was missing as well. Back to thecounter for the final time. Can someone at this location PLEASE exhibit a little leadership and make sure that the food that isordered is the food that ends up going out? Read more

Everything went real good. The food was tasty, fast, and hot. If I want good bbq I always good here. The restaurant is clean and... the staff are friendly. They have great management staff. It?s 2 pm and all the tables are clean. The bathroom is clean andstocked. I just went back 12/07 and just as tasty with even bigger sides. I think there side ladles got bigger. Wichita doesn't really have bad barbecue - the competition is too good for mediocre to last long. This is one of the best -... where they really excel is convenience. Drive-thru, carry-out, and dine-in run quick and smooth. Who has the best food is amatter of great dispute (some civil) which I won't get into here. The food is really good.
