Restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. It was busier than I thought it would be on a Sunday night. Staff was friendly... and courteous. Kimchi was delicious (first time I eaten kimchi and liked it). The corn with cheese was different and worthtrying at least one time. The bulgogi and spicy chicken plate was very good. The food here is very good but the service is not. The waiter has pink hair, she always ignores us. We try to get her... attention. She saw but ignored us. She had a nasty attitude towards all of us. We've come here many times and it's always thesame. Even so, there were other friendly staff who arrived. After all, I hope you can improve the service. Read more
Service was great. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was delicous. Kimchi stew is the real deal. It tastes like my mom's.... Side dishes are delicious and plenty. The Tteok-bokki was too mushy and tasted like it had been re-heated in the microwave. Overall, 4 stars. Read more
We did the cook your own meat table. It was a lot of fun, and fairly simple to do. We did course C, and had plenty of food for 7... people. The food had plenty of fun items to eat. Very good flavor, and we truly enjoyed the Korean options. Read more
I have always been told a lot of good things about GangNam, & now I know why. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance & atmosphere.... Somewhat of an urban industrial feel. It is very clean. The TVs are normally playing some sort of K Pop videos. The servers arevery polite. The food is very well prepared & beautifully served. Definitely worth it! A lot of people love their Yum Yum Sauce.I definitely recommend trying it. Read more
We were going there for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was feeling very cold from the room temperature, we observed... that even a waitress was walking in an warm sweater around, serving people. We ordered an appetizer and a $96 menu item. Wereceived frozen bean sprout kimchi - which were exchanged after we mentioned it to the waitress. Where it got ugly was, when wereceived meat, which was frozen solid to the metal plate. My wife is very experienced in cooking and was ?able? to ply a pieceof meet (about 1 square inch) off and put it on the grill. We told the waitress about the issue with the meat and she told us,we started cooking it, all she can try to do is to get it loosened up - you could hold the plate upside down, the meat didn?tdrop. We got the same meat back with signs of freezer burn, also the other meat dishes were frozen. We asked for the managerwhich came and talked to us in a very unprofessional way - I felt belittled and so felt my company. When asking another waiterfor help, we were smirked at and treated rudely. We loved this place and were quite often in the past there. However this wasthe worst experience we ever made at this place. We do NOT complain easily or fast, but that was too much, especially at aspecial occasion. My wife is from the Asian culture too and has a lot of knowledge about meats, since her family was and isworking in the catering and meat business, just so you can see, that an experienced person was claiming issues with the meat. Atthe end: it is very sad to write a bad review, however the service - besides the food - was exceptionally poor.
