The food was really good. We all got something off the promo menu. I would recommend anything off of it. The food portions have... really gotten bigger. It took a really long time to get our food, but our waitress was really good. She kept our drinks full andgave us updates the whole time. Every restaurant is struggling with help, but they make the best of it. The atmosphere wasgreat. You can't beat cracker barrel during Christmas time. Read more

Love the rustic feel of this place! So much to see that makes you wonder how our civilization has come so far in such a short... amount of time. The food left a lot to be desired as our coffee wasn't even as hot as most like but I assume it's because thecup was ice cold. I got a really light meal for my usual appetite being it was just a shirt stack of cakes and grits. The cakeswere ok but my grits were soupy runny and had to be taken back. The server was attentive enough but had to be reminded a fewtimes she was asked for condiments and more sugar for my coffee. I also asked for brown sugar and butter to be brought back withmy grits that she forgot. By the time I got my grits my coffee had been empty for a hot min and had finished my cakes. Being asthough I had to ask twice more for sugar and brown sugar, by the time I got them my grits were almost too cool to eat but iwasnt waiting to eat any longer. My company for this meal (my mother) had the same issues except she had gotten a meal and askedfor crispy bacon which was not crispy but she refused to send it back. I will be going again because I love the gift shop andthe atmosphere but will be diligent on being clear about how I like my food. Still gave a $5 tip on a $15 ticket because I was abit of a pain and it looked like our server already had a bad day. Read more

today is my birthday, my mother and grandmother decided to treat me to lunch. I visited the Ridge Rd location in Wichita, KS.... Brenda the waitress was horrible. She served my table cold entrees and forgot my mother and grandmothers sides. She displayed anattitude as though she was disturbed by them asking for there food and ketchup. She did not smile, she rolled her eyes andwalked off. My mother waived down "Flor" the manager and we shared our discretion, she offered a new order of food and a newwaitress. The new waitress came over to ask us what we needed with a smile and removed the appetizer plates from the table andBrenda jumped in front of her to remove dishes off the table. My mother advise her that she did not need to come back to ourtable as she was no longer our wait staff. Brenda smirked and with a very condescending tone said, oh...im sorry...and walkedoff. She returned more than once to antagonize and stare at us and purposely walked around our table staring at us talking underher breath. there was no correction in this situation what so ever. Other than the new waitress that finished our table. It ismy damn birthday today. I am so disappointed with this staff. I read all of the Diversity and Inclusion programs you have put inplace and I feel that Brenda may need some training or fired for blatantly being racist. Flor as well. They were not interestedin making the consumer feel important. The feeling of this visit was more like a annoyance. Please correct this issue. I wouldalso like to add that the portion of food and the way it was presented was very undesirable. Plain disgusting. My mother andgrandmother should not have been charged for cold food and watered down iced tea. Attached is a photo of Brenda ignoring me as Itried to ask her for a refill before we received a new waitress. Read more

Short staff in kitchen. Fortunately I was not in a hurry. Took a hour to get orders at lunch time on a Friday. Food was good, ... New fried Pickles where very good. Try them. Held me over till food arrived. Read more

Very short staffed today, but they were working very hard. A little disgruntled because I ordered green beans and okra for... sides, and my plate came out with double amt of okra, and it was cold. Also asked for Apple Butter, never received it, and thenwaited on our dessert that we ordered when we ordered our food. After being told it was coming out, and never received it, wefinally got it in a to go box without the ice cream. We were not charged for it, but still made me grumpy. Just kept my cool, and mouth shut because they were all working very hard. Will try it again. Read more
