I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich in the drive thru during my lunch. When I got back to work I saw my sandwich had 4 chicken... tenders instead of a chicken patty. When I called the restaurant I was told that they were out of chicken patties and that thetenders were the same white meat as the patties. I told the girl that it?s not the same and if they were going to substitute myorder they should at least tell me. She very plainly said sorry, she didn?t even sound sympathetic. SLOWEST ?fast? food ever. Honestly, I rarely write reviews, but I?m writing this one because it took over 40 minutes to get... food: About 5-10 minutes waiting in the drive through (wasn?t moving), so I went inside. Waited another 5-10 minutes for staffto ask for my order because they were juggling merely a few other orders. I ordered two chicken sandwich combos and threetenders. That took 20+ minutes. While I was waiting, they were informing new customers walking in that sandwiches and tenderswould take up to 30 minutes. What is going on guys? This message is for the owner of this Popeyes establishment you need to get new staff in there and you need to get more staff... well-trained staff because at the rate it is going I don't think you'll be open next year good luck sir or ma'am. Zero stars !! Customer Service training needed immediately? I usually am understanding, kind when it comes to fast food places,... I do realize that there is a huge lack of employees at many places and I never, ever complain. This was just unacceptable andjust plain rude! I frequent your Popeyes Restaurant in Whittier on Washington Blvd many times, tonight I came through your drivethru, arrived at 6:50 pm and your employee addressed me with a ?give me a moment? and I replied ?ok? ?.so no communication orhi, sorry for the wait but we are still busy please give me some more time to take your order?.mind you now it is 7:10, 20minutes have passed with nothing, and there are no longer cars in front of me waiting on orders so I say ?Hello ? and youremployee replies ?I said give me a moment? with attitude so I reply ?I think I gave you a lot of moments and for you to replywith attitude, she then tells me ?I can either choose to wait and place my order or not?, And she then goes on a rant on howthere is only two of them working and they are too busy, so I replied ok , all you needed to do is communicate not leave mesitting idle for 20 minutes or in her words ?moments?! I told her maybe they should hire more help, she then told me again withattitude ?they are hiring and if I want to apply or send my friends to apply?, wow really! This employee was so rude, obviouslyshe is overwhelmed and overworked?she definitely needs to learn how to communicate and not leave customers sitting waiting toplace an order or she just needs to quit cause apparently she cant work under pressure. At this point, I was not going to placean order for fear she or the other employee would mess with my order or food! I drove off. Very unprofessional service from thisimmature employee!
