I've had every sandwich on the menu and like many of them, but my favorite is the Turkey Dolo. The thin slices of apple on many... of their sandwiches is an interesting touch. I also recommend the chicken salad sandwich. I also really like their version ofEarl Grey tea. Read more

This little coffee shop is in a nice location set in Whiting. It gave me a positive vibe upon first approaching it. Inside is... more of an open concept where you can see just about the whole place from first scanning your eyes. I really liked the tone setinside. It gave a relaxing, comforting feel. My girlfriend and I went to the counter to order. I got a 16 oz. Cappuccino and wegot a Croque Grindhouse sandwich to share. It included chips. The sandwich was Ham, Swiss, Provolone, Apple, and Herb Dijon Mayoon Sourdough bread. The Cappuccino was prepared and given to me promptly after I ordered. The sandwich took a bit of time, butyou can?t rush greatness. The Cappuccino was pretty solid. It?s not the best cup I?ve ever had. It was a decent sip to get meby. The sandwich was pretty much flawless! Everything about it just screamed perfection! I?ve ordered the Croque sandwich at theGriffith shop, and while that one is also really good, this one really mopped the floor with that one. I feel it was even largerthan the other one. The chips were pretty solid. The service here was welcoming and friendly. It?s nice to get a brew from acoffee shop that doesn?t have a cocky employee or someone who rushes you. Their service was flawless. Overall, I really enjoyedthis coffee shop. It?s a shame that it?s so far from me. I live super close to the Griffith shop, but it was nice to see thedifferent variations between the two. If I?m in the Whiting area, I?d stop by here again. Date Of Visit: 8/13/22 Read more

Ordered a Frap. It's very small for the price and tastes like they used regular coffee instead of espresso. Not a great flavor... overall. Wouldn't order from here again. Read more

I ordered the Chai, the Nihilist Grindhouse, and the chocolate chip cookie. Great space with tons of natural light coming... through. Plenty of seating. Free WiFi. This was my first visit. The menu as written, felt overwhelming so it took me a while toorder. The staff were not unpleasant but it would have been nice if someone behind the counter offered to throw out a few ideasor provide recommendations. I was okay with the choices I made but nothing blew me away. It was just okay. But people were inand out the entire time I was there and it was a great place for me to sit for a couple hours. It appears to be a great additionto the community and I?m glad that I stopped in today. Read more

A cozy little spot tucked away in the very deeps in Downtown Whiting... A comfortable cafe with very few disturbances and a... fantastic environment. The staff is friendly and timely and the drinks (particularly the hot cocoa) is breathtaking. I wouldlove to see this place more populated, however I can appreciate the intimacy from being here alone with my partner. 5/5 Read more
