This is a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view, great atmosphere and great customer service. I have been to MiMo's... multiple times and I personally believe it is one of the best food places to visit in the Cove. I recommend trying out theempanadas, they are some of the best I have ever had! Read more

Picture this: a rainy day on the Lost Coast of California. You wander into a little restaurant with windows looking out at the... sea. You are greeted warmly and shown to a table. Within moments you are sipping a fabulous bar-made sangria and pursuing themenu. Your celiac husband is in the restroom, so you take the chance to explain it is your anniversary and ask if there isanything gluten free on the menu. Everything in the menu that night is gluten free!! We started with empanadas with a dippingsauce. Perfection. Then the Pabellon Criollo with rice and beans and tostones. Finished with flan with a caramel sauce. Everybite was a treat. Every minute a pleasure. Sure it?s 10 hours from our house. But we will be going back! Read more

Just got takeout from this eatery, and it was really good. We had the grilled chicken and the beef stew, and they were both... beautifully seasoned, and very tender. Prices are very reasonable given the remoteness of this resort town. Unfortunately, they are only open F-Sun, but definitely try this place if you get the chance. Read more

My wife and I were staying at the Inn across the road, and decided to walk over to this Venezuelan restaurant. Wow! We were blow... away by the view, the service, the food and the drinks! We ordered the empanadas to start with, along with a beer for me and aglass of the Coates Sangiovese for my wife. Not only was everything absolutely tasty, it was also fairly priced! We highlyrecommend the local caught fish filet dinner (we both opted for that entree). Everything on the plate was delicious! The fishwas perfectly seasoned and cooked. The sides of plantains, coleslaw and potatoes were fabulous as well. If we?re ever in thelost coast again, we?ll most definitely visit Mi Mochima! Read more

I remember this place when the previous old folks owned it and I can say it's never looked better. The menu is tasty, I'd like... it if they offered savory plantains as an option to the sweet, other than that it's a great addition to the cover I hope theyare able to survive for many years. Read more
