This is definitely the best place in Whitehorse for a sandwich, a good variety of meat, the soups are very good. The salads are... ?ok? though. I didn?t really enjoy the coleslaw or pasta salad?s, the beet and onion was good. I flew out to Whitehorse for 2 reasons. To work and to eat their sandwich. I came here 8 years ago and it's still the same old... memorable taste. I've convinced EVERY co-worker with me to have a sandwich made here and everyone came back to me and said thatthey are full of regret that they never discovered this place. Well worth the price! Generous portions, excellent quality, lovely ambiance, good variety, clean space and friendly staff. Have... had two different daily specials so far - perogis with Bavarian sausage and chicken pot pie. Their dessert squares look greatand taste even better, you really cannot go wrong here. The customer service is lacking based on my one recent experience with the Deli. The person who served me came across as being... impatient. She wasn't very pleasant and didn't appear to want to serve customers at that moment in time. It could be she washaving a bad day (or hour). This is the place you want for a sandwich. They layer the meat/cheese slices to get some thick sandwiches. Only issue would by... the lack of seating due to COVID. Just ask for it to go. Read more
Friendly staff. Expecting to see more hot items available other than frozen and or cold. Ate the roastbeef sandwich made to... order from sandwich counter. I was asked to pay for additional cheese, I said no. They give you a very small amount of REALcheese but it only covers half the sandwich? They need to fix that. I enjoyed the sandwich otherwise. The sandwiches are so good here and will keep you full for a while. I always come here at least once every time I'm in... Whitehorse for work. I haven't gotten their hot food items but they look delicious! The place is booming with people over lunchhour but don't worry, the line goes quickly. Read more
Great little neighbourhood deli, lots of options both hot and cold with numerous different ways to get your sandwich made fresh... to order. Lots of different side salads as well as plenty of hot options, definitely going to be my new go-to lunch spotwhenever I have time. Also many baked desserts and other things to enjoy for dessert.
