We love coming here to get German style meals. I must say that on the this last visit I was sticker shocked at the meal prices... compared to the portions. I understand that due to inflation there will be increases but this seems to be excessive. Still afan though! Read more
There are three Dunderbak's left in the world and as soon as you walk in you'll know why this one has done so well! Fantastic... food, amazing staff, and relaxing atmosphere. I recently ate at Dunderbak's with my brother and sister-n-law, along with my nephew. We got there about one hour before they... were closing. The waitress was very friendly and eager to make us comfortable during our visit. There was no pressure to "hurryup", considering the restaurant would be closing within the hour. She frequently checked on us to make sure we were satisfied.My young seven year old nephew commented, "I like this place". He felt like he was important and treated as if it was hisbirthday. We had this restaurant at a mall near me when I was little. I always wanted to go there I never got the chance. It closed years... ago. However, we were looking at something online and my husband found this one at the Lehigh Valley Mall. It?s over an hourdrive from us but we decided to drive out there for the day just for the sole reason to eat here. We were not disappointed! Ourwaitress was extremely nice and friendly. We ordered pickle fries as an appetizer. I ordered the Hofbrau platter, my son gotpierogies, my daughter got a Bavarian burger, and my husband got liverwurst. Everything was great and we look forward tovisiting again sometime soon! We only ordered soft drinks but it looks like they have a pretty extensive beer menu, for thosewho are looking for that. A favorite place to eat for decades. The German-inspired menu remains a cherished diversion from Mall shopping. The beer... selection is greatly reduced from years past, but still formidable. Very friendly staff serves delicious food and drink. Read more
The staff was hustling, attentive and friendly. Jennifer V. took good care of us. Would like open of bowl of soup rather than... just cup. But you kind of feel like you're in Germany in Epcot, which is nice. Read more
