I've been eating there lots over the past month. I buy sushi every time. Over the past month when I've ordered my sushi three... times the crab mix was frozen, and this most recent time which was this week was too warm and had obviously been sitting out.I'm now sick with food poisoning from this fast food place thats been lasting a week as it has cause me an inflamed stomach andintestines. Ordered ahead on the app. Waited at the store for almost 15 minutes as other customers were served before staff tried giving me... the wrong order. My order was sitting in the counter the entire time. My food was was barely warm by then, and missing theteriyaki sauce and spicy mayo I ordered. Read more

Got hit hard with the fact that business will cut costs where ever they can these days. The noodles at Edo for the ramen bowl... and the noodlefulbowl are now cheap fat noodles. Not the ramen that it was 2 years ago. Makes the food tast worse. I won't begoing to Edo anymore, this kind of thing is going to bring down business. Save on noodles but the taste and quality suffer andno one will return to buy again. So what you saved is lost in non repeat customers. I have been a return customer. Many yearsbut it will stop now. On one occasion I ordered online so I didn?t have to wait in the store with my baby. Get there and food wasn?t even started and... ended up waiting 20 mins. Every time I go into the store and ask for my sushi to be made fresh I get a dirty look from this onelady, Like really who wants to eat cold hard rice that?s been in the fridge since who knows when. 9/10 times when I ask forchopsticks they get forgotten. Today I went in with my baby and even though the lady at the till (not the one who made my sushiprior) was really nice she said all utensils are in the bag, check bag and there was only a fork? who eats sushi with a fork. Ithink the employees should really try to do better and make sure everything is in the bag before it?s handed to the customer andif they ask for something like the sushi to be made fresh, do so with a smile and don?t roll your eyes. This is based off my last visit to Edo Japan in Whitecourt (last Sunday). I normally have no issues coming here with food or... anything. I called my order in ahead of time nothing was ready and I was left waiting for over half hour. Restaurant was packedeveryone was waiting on food no one went outside to wait in there vehicles. My food was left open for this hole time and thegirl making the sushi was very slow, food was cold, received no sauces or condiments or utensils. Finally get out of there andhome was sick instantly I have lost one weeks worth of pay now due to ignorance from sick people not staying home or in therevehicles and the place not making people go to there vehicles to wait on they're orders... No one had a mask on especially theperson(s) that were sick with covid. Read more
