Something happened to this place since 2019 when I visited last. Service was never spectacular, but this time is was abysmal...... requests for water were never filled, never asked if anyone wanted a refill (4 empty beers before the food was half eaten), hadto go to the bar to get the check to pay and leave. This was in the bar area, at 4:30 on a weekday with less than 8 otherpeople in there. Food was... not memorable. This was a HUGE departure from my prior experiences from 2019 andbefore. Ambiance was strange, nightclub music levels at 4:30~5:30 in the evening. Not exactly conducive to having any kind ofconversation. Not really fitting to the customers there (people from their 50's to 80's). With a few new places coming in toWSS, there's no real reason to visit Bar 47 again if they can't provide memorable food and a tolerable environment (functionalservice, music that allows for reasonable speaking levels). Food was good, the place over all is great, the staff was great and very friendly, the only knock is they are expensive for... being in the middle of nowhere. Not sure I would go out of my way to go back. Read more
My husband and I shared a hamburger and I took a bite and it had a hair in it. I was pretty grossed out but hungry so gave it... the benefit of the m doubt. Maybe it was my hair and I know the burgers were good in the past. Another bite and more hair. Icouldn?t eat anything. I was completely grossed out. Whoever made their burgers clearly wasn?t carefully with their hair. Neveragain for me here. Three hairs in two bites of burgers and I am done. Read more
Driving from Great Falls to Livingston. Wanted a good burger. Reviews said Bar 47 had good burgers. I had the Buffalo bacon... Blue cheese burger.,,. AMAZING burger! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, exceptional quality food at a reasonable price? there is a bit of a wait, but quality food... takes time?be patient. Good service while we waited? will be a regular place for me and the family. Read more
Visited Bar 47 while hunting this week a couple times. Service, Food and atmosphere was great. I?ll be back in the spring.
