Cravin recently catered me and my wife baby shower of 50 guest. They did an amazing job. Peter set up all the food at our house... very nicely. They gave us plenty of food and price was reasonable. The food was amazing. Authentic flavorful Jamaican food. Myfavorite was the sweet chili wings, Curry goat and Jerk chicken. Everyone enjoyed the food. I highly recommend Cravin JamaicanCuisine. I visited Cravin Jamaican Cuisine on white plains today. The scenery was beautiful, it was what pulled me to walk in. When I... got inside I was delighted by the aroma of there food and the melodies of Jamaican music to my ears. I didn?t order much but I?dlove to visit again and try some of my favorite dishes from Jamaica. I'd recommend it as a nice place to go with friends,family, or a partner. This was my first time eating here but I had a great experience. There was amazing customer service and delicious food. The... oxtail was one of the best oxtails I?ve ever had. The food here is very good. Restaurant is clean and the vibe is chill. Staff are super friendly. We?ve ordered at least a half... dozen times and each and every time, the order was wrong or missing items. Doesn?t matter if it?s takeout or delivery, yourorder will be incorrect. Tonight, we ordered a chicken patty for my nephew and they sent beef. They also forgot his colachampagne. Ordered cabbage and received sweet plantain. Recently, I was in the area and ordered a piece of black cake. Theemployee bagged and handed me a slice of chocolate cake as if that?s what I ordered. This ?take what you?re given? mentality canbe annoying but the food really is good. I will warn that if you have food allergies, I?d be very careful because accuracy isnot their strong suit. Some of the food is very good (albeit very overpriced) and some of the employees are very nice and definitely worth seeing... again. But besides the overpriced food, the reason for the pathetically low review is due to my brief experience as an employeeof this establishment. If you wish to work at their White Plains franchise as I did, know that your manager is incrediblyunprofessional and impolite. She will expect you to know and do everything perfectly by only the first or second day. And you?renever given the chance to learn from any normal beginner mistakes, let alone be given the chance to improve. And this is noteven mentioning your boss, the owner of Cravin Jamaican who was absolutely deplorable to work with. Before I quit (and thereason I quit) he told me that I was never included in the work schedule because I am a burden on the workforce and a headacheto have at the job. Even though I was only called in to work for a total of five days in over a month. So although their jerkchicken and plantains are good and I am happy that I had some very kind and supportive coworkers, know that this is how thingsare done behind the admittedly very nice facade of Cravin? I placed an order in the morning hours of two consecutive Mondays, the order was very inconsistent. See below, The first Monday... I ordered you will find the plate is full with all the essential food. The next Monday, the plate was less than half and when Icalled to notify them the phone just rang off the hook. Stopped in for breakfast and got the ackee and salt fish with fried dumpling. I was definitely NOT disappointed. It was... delicious, not greasy, not over packed with bell peppers and had the right amount of ackee to salt fish. Not too salty either. The dumplings were nice and fluffy not heavy and dense.
