WOW... What a surprise in the middle of nowhere. Great Mom and Pop restaurant with charming homespun atmosphere. Service was... truly excellent and extremely friendly, nice to feel welcomed when dining. The food was excellent but be warned the side ofribs are huge. The Cole slaw and cornbread pudding were delicious!! Everything we had was very good. The Sea food cakes are great switch up from normal crab cakes. We got there early on a Thursday night and within a short time locals were thereenjoying the great food. Go early and enjoy this out of the way treat!!! Food was very good, but it's very pricey and they don't have many cheaper menu items. Staff was all super nice, and super... helpful. They told me the website/menu is over 10 years outdated. We would have gone somewhere else. Just passing through,looking for a cheaper bite to eat. Read more
The food was amazing. Prices were very fair. Extremely clean establishment. The waitress was nice BUT wasn't very informative... for us. I asked if they served Coke or Pepsi products. She replied "We have RC" After ordering water, we heard another table gettold several soda options as well as teas and lemonade! It took forever to get our order taken. Even longer to get our waters.And a crazy long time to get our food! Apparently they only had one waitress and one cook to hold down the entire place! Read more
The sign says it all, a best kept secret, but I am letting the secret out. Really nice people, cozy little seating area a great... food. I highly recommend the seafood cakes (crab, shrimp, scallops and fish baked in a crab cake) because they are really,really good. The fried chicken was good and the French fries were superb.
