We finally got to eat at Oakside and we were not disappointed at all. The drinks were refreshing and tasty! We got 3... appetizers and I forgot to grab photos of them...but I got a little of the calamari. The jalapeño poppers were amazing! Wealso got the jerk chicken Tacos from the appetizer menu and they were 3 full size Tacos answer delicious! The main courses weredelicious. The batter on the onion rings was the nest I've ever had....the crunch was crazy! The fish was really nice too (Iwould order it again). The ribs was good, very sticky and the sauce was nice. The lamb was very good and the steak and mashedpotatoes were good, the chef overcooked my steak. I asked for medium and I got well done. They offered to cook me another one,but my family already was eating and I want to eat with them....so I ate it. This place is fantastic! There are many jumbo TV's to watch. The bar makes awesome cocktails ????. Alcohol is well priced!... Interactive tables. You can call your server, play video games (small fee), view the menu & even order off it!! The food wasgreat too! Good portion sizes & lots of flavor! Oakside did a fabulous job on our meals. They came to our table hot and with a beautiful presentation. I had the Lamb Shank with... Garlic mashed potatoes. Grilled calamari and Ahu Tuna appetizers, both were good. Calamari could have been cooked a bit longer. Apps large enough to be... a main if you're not a big eater. 3 star review because of brunch a few weeks back, wasn't as good as when they first started. Read more

Had an overall good experience. Ordered french fries to split with a friend which were pretty mediocre. Think fancy Mcdonalds... fries. The main course was delicious and full of flavour. The garnish was great and the lamb was perfectly seasoned. Dessert wasgreat which was vanilla ice cream with lava cake which is a classic this restaurant nails. I'd say the service was unfortunatelysub-par. The speed was below-averege (although I'll cut some slack since it was a Friday evening), but the waitress felt alittle rushed and impolite towards us. It's totally understandable on a busy night how someone may be a little out of it, but Ido have to give a fair, honest review about the experience of eating at Oakside. Restaurant is tucked away in the no frills plaza off stouffville main street. Walked in and it's beautiful inside. Tv's and tons... of seating. Great atmosphere, especially for sports games. My party and I sat outside on the patio and it was nicelycovered. The food was delicious. Great menu choices and price was average. I didn't expect much, but it was beyond myexpectations. First time here and loved it! We came for my husband?s bday and the food did not disappoint! Service was excellent and food... came quickly! We ordered for appetizers, Truffle Fries, Fried shrimps and calamari, and Crispy Brussel Sprouts. For mains, wegot Mac n Cheese, Ribs and Wings, and Greek Salad. The Greek salad was so good - hummus mixed in with the dressing made it socreamy!!! The Mac and cheese had smoked bacon and caramelized onions, which was a hit with my kids! We probably did not needthe ribs and wings bec the appetizers were so generous but they were also excellent! Overall, an amazing experience and Ihighly recommend this place!!! Read more
