I took my family to enjoy a meal here and we were seated immediately. They wasted no time getting food to the little one and... making sure we had our orders placed in a timely manner. I didn't have to ask for anything once. The service did their job,which is incredibly rare. I personally had the beef brisket grilled cheese, which is the best brisket sandwich I ever ate. Thesalmon miso was labeled as "okay" and the fish and chips were very good. I feel odd in saying I can't wait to eat here again,because so many places are just plain bad. Read more
My family and I dined in for brunch today. I had the eggs florentine, which came with smoked salmon and capers. My wife had the... garden omelette with the smashed browns. The coffee was served hot. Overall, the service was fantastic, and our waitressremembered us from a previous visit. We will definitely be coming back. Read more
What an absolutely amazing spot! We had a little party and the food was great, ambience also very comfortable and the service... 100% they kept coming to refil the waters, asking if everything was great, they did a really good job with everything. I have been to the Markham location and prefer the ambience and service over this Whitby location. Service started off strong... but got slower as the night progressed, the bar ran out of Malibu rum so we had to get a regular Margarita (not the coconutpineapple one) which was not very good at all..too strong. They also served my friend pasta without a spoon and no server cameby for us to ask for one in time. The food tasted good (yummy fried chicken sandwich and a hearty butternut squash soup); Ithink the waitress intended to be attentive but was perhaps overwhelmed. They should also instruct busboy to refill water one ata time rather than leaning over seated guests and trying to fill more than one glass at once: that felt uncomfortable aftermonths of social distancing. I went here today for lunch with my wife. It’s a very nice restaurant. The food is fair priced but on the more expensive side.... We got the Smash Burger and the Chicken Cobb Salad. The portions are a good size. The service was great and polite. There isalso a lot of TVs to watch sports or whatever they have on. They do have set hours for their menus so be aware of that. It’sin a big plaza with many other restaurants. There is a lot of parking so there is no issue with that. Read more
Buttermilk chicken on a bun was messy but super good! The Mac and Cheese was very good too. Hubby had the ribs - he was a big... fan of the sauce and I was happy he didn’t make his usual mess with dripping sauce on his shirt so I’m a big fan of the ribstoo. These dishes were recommended by our lovely waitress, Victoria, who was delightful, attentive and knew the menu insideout. What a great lunch! Read more
