Everything is always fresh, crisp and tastes great. Veggie dragon rolls, oishi Maki, Whitby roll, and avo cucumber rolls are my... go to. They've never let me down and it always tastes great every time I go, which is often because I work around the corner???? they're still closed to dine-in, but you could easily grab takeout there then walk across the street to JACKED up coffeefor a drink and dessert to sit and eat :) Read more

So far, we are extremely satisfied with Oishi Maki. BEST PLACE in Durham region. Food is amazingly delicious and clean. I have... extremely sensitive digestive system and this place by far my #1. Being a picky sushi person, the sushi here is awesome. 1- Therice to filling ratio is perfection by it self. Fair/small amount of rice and more filling. 2- rice seasoning is right on thedot. Not sweat or salty (actually maybe the food here is more on the light salt side) 3- fillings are fresh and clean everytimewe get our order. 4- the roll is perfectly rolled ( not loss and doesn't fall apart). 5- best miso soup ever. The broth is nottoo watery and not salty at all, just perfect every single time. 5- last but not least fairly priced. I kept delaying my reviewfor Oishi Maki because I wanted to try it multiple times and make sure I don't rush into my rating. Also I was too scared tojinx it ????. I hope this place stays the same or gets better and doesn't get worst. We never tried dine in, we always dotakeout so this rating and review is based on takeout only. Try this place, you won't regret. F.Y.I: this place doesn't offerfancy sushi, just a standard sushi and honestly this place better than many other places in Peterborough, Oshawa, Whitby,Bowmanville, ajax, Mississauga, Markham, Toronto etc. Give the place a try for takeout, you won't regret it ???? 2022 update This restaurant has finally reopened up after the pandemic for in seat dining. We are so happy to have our... favorite all you can eat sushi place back. Food is still excellent, hours of reduced now I think they close at 9:00 p.m. asopposed to 10:00 we were talking to the waitress and she was mentioning that it's still hard to find staff and sushi chefs butit is definitely worth the wait! 2017 Food is delicious, we usually go here for all you can eat, but this time we got therelate and it seems after 9 p.m. all you can eat is over and you have to pay menu price. Still worth it but spent about $40 morethan we had planned. Read more
