Ordered the Sultani Kabab meal; everything was delicious in terms of seasoning. I love Afghan food they just never miss when it... comes to spices???? Great food. Authentic preparation. Family owned. Nice ambience. Lacks nothing. I recommend for a nice casual night out for a... light meal or a quick bite either ways you’ll not regret the cost to quality ratio. Food arrived pretty quick. It’s like aself serve place (or at least we picked our own food from the counter) we chose the corner table with high rise seating. Thereare plenty of other options to sit at. Ordered two chicken portions and one beef. Each meal comes with rice, a salad, abread(naan?) and some spicy kind of sauce for the table. It’s good, food was a little dry for me, but I’m a person whoprefers gravy so my choices probably don’t reflect the majority of taste buds out there. I’m a big foodie and I love Afghan cuisine. I have tried most (if not all) Afghan places within Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal... and I can assure you Maimana tops the list by far in terms of authenticity with great affordable price. In particular, the ownerand the staff are extremely friendly and always care about the quality of the food and asks for feedback, I go there once a weekas I love supporting local restaurants, thanks guys for amazing food and great customer service!! Wow this spot is really nice. They manager or owner, I am not sure who he is, very friendly. They made the food fresh, I have to... wait 15min and it was worthwhile. I ordered the mix grill so I could try it. I haven't got any kind of this food before. It wasyummy ???? I never knew Afghan food was this tasty. The friendly staff and how clean the place was are big plus plus. The owneror manager also gave me a free soup that was even better than what I had ordered. Definitely will come again. Read more
One word - Awesome. We came here for dinner with a large group of friends. This place has ample of space and great ambience.... Wasn't that crowded and the service was great. The food was made to perfection. Special mention the Naan was just so amazinglyfresh and soft, couldn't stop eating it. Have to come back here. Please like my review if you find it helpful. Read more
