Having moved to Whitby last year, I was desperate to find a new ramen place to go to. Little did I know this little noodle shop... would become my GO-TO place. I've gone there right when it's open (11am) and later on in the evening. Their speedy service andfriendly staff remain regardless the time of the day. My usuals are sake and Black Knight at Ippon. They are delicious. I Iknow can count a yummy for my belly and wonderful friendly staff team. I've brought my sister and my little boy (7 yo) here.Both of them enjoyed thoroughly. The price for the food has increased a bit since my last visit, that's the only thing. Iwould HIGHLY recommend this ramen place who loves ramen!! Read more

First time . Great atmosphere, great customer service. The server was always checking up on me to ensure I had everything I... need. Water refill/chopsticks/fork/knife . This is my favourite ramen place in Durham. I've ordered takeout here several times. I've only got to dine in once for the first... time. I've always got their shoyu pork ramen which is extremely flavourful and they make their own broths from scratch withoutmsg. They also have really cool drinks which I've had a few times. I'd also like to compliment their noodles because they reallytaste hand made and the texture of the noodles is just perfect. I've always recommended everyone ippon ramen in Durham Durhamfor both their broth and noodles. I was only a little disappointed when I ordered their kimchi side dish, it didn't taste as Iexpected it should be. But other than that I also recommend you check out their rice bowls, especially the kaarage Donburi. Read more
