I came in last week for take out and I knew about this place for a while but I think they got new management and the whole place... looks more modern now but still has that diner feel and the food is just less oily and tastes more fresh everything just tastebetter. Also a big thank you to AJ he gave me extra extra tartar sauce and was very polite and kind just like the rest of thewonderful staff there. First time here a month ago absolutely outstanding meal (takeout). Today a complete 180...fish was dry and way overcooked and... frys were cold and inedible. Definitely refried. So disappointed Read more

The owners of this place are the best, we owe them big time. It's just so nice to be treated with kindness, they go above and... beyond. We've dined here often, breakfast, lunch and dinner, dine in or take out, just always a welcoming atmosphere. Stopped by and ordered the double fish (haddock) and chips with gravy. The place was busy, the lady that took my order Sunday... was pleasant to deal with. The haddock was good, the wife enjoyed the thicker batter and they were fried to a perfect crisp, thefries were hand cut maybe double fried which was good, I enjoyed the gravy. The only thing is they don?t make their own tartarsauce which would have been great to see. We fed two adults and two little humans with the order (under $30). Read more

If you are not local to the area, it is easily missed but... word of mouth reaches far and wide when you are a wholesomely good family spot! My family and I have been coming here for years.We love both the breakfast and the fish and chips! My most recent visit was for breakfast and my usual order is the Full of Itsandwich. Other family members usually get eggs, bacon and peameal. The over easy eggs are cooked and plated perfectly. Thepancakes (not pictured here) are fluffy and soft with no eggy flavour. While we came here for breakfast today, we also love thefish and chips. The fish portions have to be the most generous I?ve ever encountered without excessive batter. The gravy isdark and delicious and perfect accompaniment to the chips. Be sure to also try their Greek salad? one of the best greek saladsI?ve had. The dressing is so flavourful along with a mount of fresh, soft feta. This is a family run business and owners arewonderful. We will continue to visit and have told many of our friends and family about this place. Read more
Delicious fish and chips! Taste very good and fresh, portion are big. Highly recommended. The mushroom omelette taste good and... big portion as well. We also had fish with Greek salad, the salad portion are big and taste very fresh and good. Read more
