Ordered 3 breakfasts, eggs over easy, they were hard and overcooked, homefries tasted like raw potatoes with no seasoning at... all. Asked for cheese and mushrooms omlette, no mushrooms, fake cheese Slice and overcooked almost burnt. The pancakes were ok,but were cooked on a dirty griddle. Waste of $50, will never eat there again. Not terrible, but can be alot better. Add some lemon wedges because thats very traditional for fish and chips. Crispier fries... would also be nice, the fries that I got were so undercooked, it was almost hard raw. Tartar sauce is packets which is not badbut again, homemade would be the way to go. Read more

I order 2 Halibut and 1 chips special for $40.65. When I got home the fries were black and so greasy my fingers were soaked with... oil from 1 french fry and they were so soggy even though I made sure the counter lady didn't fully seal the box container. Ilive 9 minutes away. When I called about the fries the owner said he's been telling customers that it is the fault of thesupplier as they are sending him fries with too much sugar and that's why the fries turn out black. Asked why fries are sosoaked in oil, he blamed it on the type of fry. I tasted the Halibut it was like leather. It tasted as if it was precooked andthen cooked again. I wondered why th counter lady told me 5 min for my order. Take it from me don't go there for Fish and Chipsat lunch. The owner didn't even offer me my money back or free food next time I come in fully knowing the food was bad. Hewasn't very good at customer service. The lady running this store was amazing! Anything she knew about she fixed instantly despite how busy the restauraunt was. No... toilet paper? She went herself right away to ensure customers had it. Water wasn't running? She alerted all her patrons aboutthis issue as the city shut down the water temporarily. She served food faster than expected from everyone, but the speed ofservice didn't lower the quality of the food. The fish was amazing, it was the first Haddock I enjoyed without any lemon. First time here. Recommended by several friends. I went right for the namesake Halibut and got the rings. Was very good. Done... perfect. Rings were awesome. Thanks! Will definitely come back. Lots of truck parking. Update a few weeks later.. This timehad the Hadock and Rings... Awesome! Rings were great -oil was good. Hadock was great! Every bite almost just melts in yourmouth. Will be back. Was still here in the morning, wound up getting the special. Whitefish and chips. It too was greatalthough I personally preferred the rings. Whitefish was done perfect. Read more
