I hosted my Fall networking event at the Whitby Coffee Culture and I am planning the holiday one there since it was a great... success. The new manager Ellen is working incredibly hard to bring back the glory of the place. The sit in area is cozy and thetreats are super good. I am planning to try them all. I am looking forward to bringing my customers here and hosting moreevents. I believe that people need to be more patient at peak time. Some drinks need longer time. Kindness goes a long way! Hands down the best atmosphere, service and food/drink selection of any cafe around. Ellen is an absolute superstar; hardest... working and dedicated employee. There is always a smile on her face and she makes you feel so welcome. If you're looking for agreat place to relax and enjoy a coffee and muffin, catch up on your emails or hang out with some friends, I highly recommendTHIS location. For those that have mentioned being irritated with wait times, please try to have a little more patience andunderstanding; perhaps the day you came in someone called in sick or simply didn't show for their shift. The food and service is great, but the management don?t seem to realize that consistently only having one person working during... a big influx of people coming in and out of the store is not healthy for customers or the worker present. The service becomesslower, and there is not enough workers present to support each other to get the job done. It shouldn?t be like this as no othercoffee culture, nor fast food cafe has this issue, always having multiple workers serving or cashing out at a time; it?s notunreasonable to look at how it?s affecting the customers in real time. Had an amazing experience at this Coffee Culture. The new manager Ellen was such a delight. I went there for lunch to celebrate... my sisters birthday and she made sure we were welcomed the moment we walked in. She even gave my sister a complimentary mangodrink because it was her birthday. I have always liked Coffee Culture but now I LOVE it!!. It is now under new management and Ellen has taken over. She made sure I... was welcomed and assured me everything in their pantry was fully stocked. I had the Berry Pecan Salad which was delicious, anamazing carrot muffin and I sampled a Oreo Frappuccino. This is my new favourite coffee shop! All of the menu items here are delicious as well and a reasonable price for what you get.... It is a great environment for getting work done, or inviting friends out for a cup of coffee. Most importantly, the staff isvery friendly. 10/10 would recommend coming here! Read more
