1st time eating African/Nigerian Vegetable soup with Riro/Garri potato Swallow ????. Got the assorted meat soup with liver,... heart, intestines, spinach. Very spicy, but good. Learned about this soup through an Instagram story that was UFC Fighter IsraelAdesanya's, then again from a show on Netflix 3rd Season of Love is Blind. Decided to google it to find out about and if therewere any local restaurants that served it. And that's when I found Charloma Star ???????????????. Thank you for friendly, helpful service and cool experience! Appreciate it!???????????? Read more

The young man at the front counter was really nice and very informative. Jellof rice was bomb! And the Suya beef was delicious!... Everything was well seasoned. Also, the restaurant was very clean. 5 stars for customer service, 4 stars for food. I'd eat hereagain. Read more

Ordered the goat and chicken roti. Alot of bones in the chicken roti. Didn't make for a pleasant eating experience. Flavour was... good. Wait time was very long Thought it very expensive for the size of roti. Waitress very nice. Friendly staff. Read more

I ordered previously from them their jollof rice and it was awful. After some months I decided to give them a try again. This... was awesome. The Nkwobi cost $25 that large portion. It didn't have ugba, which was essential to me. Update: placed anotherorder. I ordered meatpie, suya and, Jerk chicken. Wow, where do I begin. I believe the pictures should speak for itself. I amdisappointed again. I never tried the meat pie, I threw it away. Presentation was a no no. The suya was $20 for that littleamount loaded with mostly onions. The jerk chicken was good but this was done with parboiled rice, what happen to rice and peas.Never again! Read more

I was very disappointed. The wait there was very long for a coffee. They had no cream or any dairy to go into my coffee. I... ordered fries with gravy. The gravy come 10 minutes after my wings and fries. I will not be going back. The bathroom wasdirty and disgusting. There was paper towels all over the place and no toilet paper. I went here to get a break from my busyday. Read more

I had the jollof and goat meal for just over $24 on February 25, 2022. It was one if the worst jollof I've ever had. The rice... was over cooked, soft and mushy, felt like I was eating rice pudding. The flavor was a bit ok. The goat meat was very toughand it didn't help that it was nuked to in a microwave to reheated. There where only 3 pieces of goat meat mostly bones, for aprice of $24 in a medium container. I think they need to re-evaluate their chef or hire a new chef. Read more
