We had zero expectations about this restaurant, but we were very pleasantly surprised. My entire family loves Indian food, and... especially butter chicken so we have high standards. But only few were like real Indian flavour and quality. When my wife took me and my kid in thisrestaurant and ordered their signature?butter chicken and roti ?. Believe me, it was 80-90% same like what I tried in India.Same taste, same flavour, same aroma. It might be 100% if they got 100% Indian ingredients here. Best place to dine in for Indian food and Indian appetizers! Didn?t knew about this new place coming up ! One of my friend... suggested me to try the food here and on our way back to Montreal we all had our stop here at Butter Chicken Roti ! At firstglance looking at the location and the place we didn?t really had any idea that they would be serving such mind blowing and richIndian taste cuisine ! We ordered bhelpuri , dahi puri and signature chicken tikka masala and first thing everyone said aftertrying the food was ?WOW? ! The taste was really very good plus the spice level was up to our hope and the flavours of thespices they really made the food more tasteful and 5 stars to the presentation of the food as well ! The service was up to thepoint and when we having our food the manager who was present there named ?Aniket? came at our table and asked us that how wasthe food and was very concerned about the food quality and quantity and asked us that did you people got what you guys expectedand was very kind and humble ! First time trying a chicken roti. I tried their signature dish. Love it. I asked the spice level as hot and it was perfect. The... owner (Shabbir) is amazing and super fun to talk to. Tip for folks - if you can, order the roti on the side and use your hands:) Update: 1. The Management has changed hands - which may or may not dictate how things are run. 2. Their Samosas (and it'svariants based on Samosas) aren't good, because the Samosa isn't fresh (it's your typical grocery store frozen Samosas) On theother hand, their signature Butter Chicken and bread (Roti) is still pretty good. Again, for a place that touts their Samosas,it was disappointing to see frozen samosas being fried and passed off as authentic. It was so bad that I couldn't finish it. I ordered butter chicken roti and it was so satisfying that I felt compelled to write this review. I've ordered from this... location multiple times since they opened and each time I've interacted with the owner, he has made sure that our food isexactly the way we like. However, today I'd like to give kudos to Rahim, who took my order, and ensured that the spice level forthe 2 rotis I ordered (1 mild and 1 medium) were followed. Those with kids will understand why this is important because youdon't want to be with a hungry and cranky child when they've eaten too much spice ???? Jokes aside, thank you so much forensuring the food was perfect. I don't usually like butter chicken, but this is the only restaurant I eat it from and once Istarted, I couldn't stop eating it! I've always believed that Indian cuisine would work very well as a fast food option if someone was creative enough to do it.... Butter Chicken Roti is one of two places I know that have pulled this off successfully (the other is Bollywood Taco). From themarketing, the packaging, to the food itself. Butter Chicken Roti is a great way to enjoy Indian food that is fast, fun andgreat tasting. We tried both the butter chicken and vindaloo roti, both were excellent; full of flavour and big portions. Theyalso offer their own take on Indian chicken wings and combining samosa appetizers covered in butter chicken, which they call andIndian poutine.
