Reviews for KA-ZE in Whistler, BC
The best sushi in Whistler. Tom is amazing and his food never disappoints. KA-ZE feels more traditional and the restaurant has... such a cozy vibe. Our kids love it here too. Read more
Service - fantastic, servers were polite and regularly checked up while our table was empty to make sure we were taken care... of. Food - tried the maki rolls, very generous proportions and fish in the rolls. Try the Shimaaji nigiri, not a common fishfound in restaurants but very tasty. The special Kinki dish was also a rare treat! Price - by far most affordable place forgood food in the village. Try next - I hear good things about the nabe menu, will come back tomorrow and report results. Read more
Nabe Sukiyaki is delicious, my wife wanted to return here everyday to have it. From my perspective, I really enjoyed the Nigiri... blue fin tuna, the chutorro and the oh toro. Try the Ramune (Japanese soda) too for the flavor and novelty. Very friendly Doriserved us and helped us navigate through the multiple choices. A must visit! Read more
You definitely don?t want to miss their Sukiyaki. Put the meat in soup for just 10 seconds, you feel like in the heaven,... especially after your snowboarding and skiing.?????This little store is very cozy, warm, comfortable and feel like at home.Their green tea flavour desserts are also very recommended which are not too sweet. Had sukiyaki. It took exactly 65mins from the time we were seated, pretty sure the server forgot about us lol. Over priced and... portions are very small. Ordered 3 beers to drink with the food, but since we had to shove down the sukiyaki in less than 20mins(as we needed to get somewhere by 9 which we were already 30mins late for) we had a chug the beer with the food but still had afull bottle left. They took one beer off the bill. Paid $263.89 for 4 of us and we were all very hungry after. Had the worstexperience. I do not recommend this place. Read more
Charming service. Warned us about potential for slow service, and then proceeded to serve quickly and efficiently, while... short-staffed. Maki, edamame, gyoza and miso were good, although edamame was smallest portion we?ve seen anywhere. Thanks -would come again! Read more
Nice little spot located in the Westin. Best deal was the 5-course with your choice of hot pot. It came with edamame, sashimi,... kamikaze roll, salmon roll, and gyoza. Surprised at how buttery good the sashimi was. And those gyoza were cooked perfectly witha delicate crisp on the skin but hot and juicy on the inside. We opted for the Whistler Nabe and it was quite filling. Read more
