This place had a great vibe and is clearly a popular hangout, but the food was actually lackluster and could be improved. I... tried the Dusty's burger and the Kansas City Smoked Chicken - the burger was rather oily and the chicken was way too salty. This is really an epic place with a lot of history. This is truly one of the worlds top ski bars, and when you visit you'll... agree. It's at the base of my favourite place to ski in the world, and the vibe is partly responsible for that. The structureitself is amazing, in that it's a huge, cedar, Alpine, mountain lodge style, that has a great sound stage for a ton of livemusic, 2 endless bars, giant cosy fireplace inside and outside, and seating for your 500 closest friends. They keep their menu short and concise. The concise menu that seems to have allowed the cooking staff to laser focus on the... quality of the dishes. Got the brisket sandwich and the fish and chips. Everything was done extremely well. The sauces providedwere plentiful and tasty. I hate it when places give you those tiny containers of sauce. Like how much is the sauce costing you?A few cents? Just give me more than enough. The brisket was well sauces and juicy. The bun selection was appropriate and did notoverwhelm the sandwich filling. Normal ambiance for ski in lodge food. Outstanding food! We did not order the bbq (being from Texas) but everyone’s order was... hot, fresh, visually well thought out and appealing, and really tasty! Dusty's gets crowded and noisy at times, but that's to be expected for apres ski. The food here is much better than you might... guess though. Try the BBQ, salads or Nachos - all very good! Read more
Really fun atmosphere and enjoyable food. The BBQ nachos are amazing and the wings are also quite good! Dusty's is perfectly... situated at the base of Creekside with really great hill access. A great stop for a lunch break and/or a must stop in for apresski. Read more
Food was surprisingly good. We visited for lunch two days in a row in the middle of our ski days. I had the BBQ Chicken Salad... the first day. It was really good, fresh ingredients, and had a really nice kick to it. The second day I had the pulled porksandwich with all the fixins. It looked overwhelming with possibly too many flavors, but they all worked together and it tastedfantastic. Service was pretty decent considering how busy they were both days. Read more
