Very convenient, lovely ambience of being in Whistler village. On a sunny cool day you can sit out in the patio. They have... outdoor heaters. There are tables and chairs to sit inside as well or on bar chairs. The rates are a bit pricey, but then againyou are in Whistler, a touristy spot. Quite literally the only place in the world which can't handle a basic whiskey sour, and I've been around so believe me when I... say this, don't try to be a DJ with the drinks, keep it simple, most people don't like unnecessary twists to classic cocktails.Bare minimum food on the menu, extremely limited options to choose from, so it never had a chance, had absolutely nothing goingfor it, but the one thing that did it for me was, even after all this, the food took almost half hour to reach out table. I getit, it gets busy at times, you're trying to be efficient by keeping the menu super short, it's still not working so maybe trysomething else and offer more on the menu when the food's not gonna be served for half hour anyway, right? Venue on the patio is nice but there is not much privacy. The drinks menu was amazing and had some good drinks on there. The... food menu is a fraction of the size and not quite as good. I ordered their chicken basket with a side waffle but I didn't reallyreceive a basket of chicken. I got 2 pieces of poorly battered chicken that was falling apart. Having the name basket wouldimply that there is more than just 2 but not in this case. The flavor was good as the fries were seasoned but you could tellthey were not fresh as they were soggy. The coleslaw was also good. The servers are nice but the food is lack luster. Good placeto come and hangout with friends but not that great for lunch. Read more
Good place to stop by for drinks. Great outdoor seating and ambience. Friendly service. Not much to choose from the food menu... and prices are rather high for the quality but can?t complain because most tourist places have the same problem. Fries we hadwere salty and the burger patty was thin and overdone. Choose to sit outside. Wings are a safe bet and it?s best to buy jugs ofbeer. Read more
These stars are based on the food and ambiance. If I took into account for the server it would be a 3 star. I had a large fresh... Caesar salad ($16) and my kid had the Beacon burger ($21). Patio is nice and toasty on a cool Spring evening. Decent portionsand prices are expected for Whistler. I was expecting better service for a resort town. Our server seemed to hate her job andmade no effort to make us feel welcome, but tried hard to upsell add ons. Read more
Amazing!! I loved the fish & chips, one of the best I?ve had! The crispy mozzarella was also delicious and an amazing appetizer!... My dad said the ruben was the best he?s had in his whole life and won?t stop talking about how great the mustard on it was!Would definitely recommend!! Read more
We were happy that there was no line like the other pubs and restaurants and we got seated right away. The upstairs of the... restaurant was a great place to sit and watch people and dogs walking by. We were able to order our food quickly. We waited forour drinks for a long time but they were tasty. Half of our orders came after a short wait and the other half took a long time.The salad had no dressing and the cod was as hard as a rock. My husband told them that it was my birthday and they didn?t doanything for it. We told them about the fish and salad and it wasn?t taken off of our receipt. Trendy pub and eatery located in the heart of the Whistler village. We loved the bright upstairs seating area and people... watching through the windows. Food quality was excellent and included more healthy options than traditional pub food. Server dida good job. Highly recommended. Read more
