Cigar shop opens at 10 am. The bar and restaurant opens at 12, I wish they put that on their website. Drove 45 minutes to meet a... client for coffee and cigars, found out I had to wait till 12 for service. They told me I can bring my own coffee so I went outamd did that. Got back sat down took 2 sips, manager came by and told me we are opening service now and requested I throw awaymy coffee. It was comedy ????. Read more

Had a guys night and from the food to the cigars and lounge this place was great! One recommendation is to bring your own cutter... and torch because they do not supply one. Otherwise the experience was really good Read more

I haven't been into J&R since the renovation. I'm pleasantly surprised! Gone is the lobby filled with cheap chachkies and... apparel. Now the "old lobby" is filled with beautiful overstuffed leather chairs and couches. Now this place looks more like anupscale private club (however, it's open to the public) come and smoke your favorite cigars inside. The new layout designfeatures a small private locker room with personalized wooden lockers to store vour humidor, cigars etc. Their showroom is ahuge humidity controlled cigar room with almost any cigar vou can imagine. Nice bar / bistro / dining room. The one caveat isthe service could be a little faster and consistent. Read more

I have been coming to the lounge for years and have observed the gradual changes over the last 12 months, The current manager,... Michael, has definitely made improvements and now runs the lounge like a true business as compared to the prior manager who wassimply collecting a paycheck. The service is better, as is the food. and if you ask him a question he has a sensible answer.Additionally he is very visable and interacts with customers so there is now a feeling that the lounge is run by a manager thatcares about loyal customers. The current group of servers work hard (even with staffing shortages) to maintain customersatisfaction and should be appreciated as well as kudos to Michael for fostering this environment. Read more

Things really have changed for the worse . I have been going to JR for over 16 plus years. Loved it. I brought many friends... there. I have attended many of their events. I would usually purchase several bottles of wine there and enjoy it with a meal anda cigar. There was a small corkage fee $6-8. Even tho the wine was purchased there. The last 8-10 x I've been there the servicehas been terrible.. ....At times even rude. We all know people are short staffed since covid but slow is one thing, rude isanother. I haven't enjoyed it much but keep giving it another chance. Last night was really upsetting tho because service wassuper slow and bad but the server was at least apologetic and friendly. I purchased 2 bottles of wine and we drank one therewith our meal. When we got our bill they charged us $25 to open the bottle of wine. ..no warning. No sign. Nothing on the menusaying they raised their price over 400% . When I questioned the man there he said they raised price because many restaurantscharge that and walked away. True , some 5 star restaurants with liquor licenses charge $20- $25 when u bring a bottle fromhome. ...JR is not a 5 star restaurant and I didnt bring the bottle from home. I purchased it there! Ridiculous. Sometimes Ithink they are purposely trying to go out of business. I'm done with JR. Read more
