We were very impressed with our beautiful dinner overlooking the gardens of Oglebay! We chose this place for our 19 year wedding... anniversary dinner with our children. Debbie was our waitress and she was exceptionally wonderful! She made sure every detailwas perfect down to what we had a drink or appetizer and our main course she even made accommodations for the kids. We went on a Friday night during the lights and it was a fantastic choice. The patio had heaters and we picked up a s'mores kit... for the kids. There was a steady stream of people but it was never crowded and felt like we could take all the time in theworld. Don't sleep on the food either! The grilled cheese was fantastic, with thick bacon and sourdough bread plus fresh kettlechips. My husband had chili and said it was delicious and spicy. One of the most impressive things about Oglebay is that it isn?t hard to find vegetarian-friendly food, including thisdelicious Garden Bistro Sandwich. Cute little gourmet restaurant in the Oglebay complex of shops and museums. Only open maybe 5 months a year, dining inside and... out. Great service. Beautiful view of valley toward the actual Inn. Read more
