Had lunch with my husband here today. Bit of a wait but was well worth it.
Tons of food for the money. Great value. The Italian sub was as big as my forearm. And weighed as much as a newborn baby.... Friendly employees. Clean space. Delicious sandwiches. Some may think they are a little high priced but I can assure you, you get your money's worth! The... sandwiches are large and the fillings are stuffed to the maximum, easily three times the meats, etc than you would get atSubway. They seem to be pretty popular so call your order in ahead if you can. Read more

We celebrated valentines ???? day a little late...But, Elm Grove Subs was really worth our wait!!! Everyone was super friendly... an so patient!! The "Sweet Pepper sub" an The "Cheesesteak fries" were Delicious. WOULD definitely recommend & already thinkingof going back for my birthday dinner (3/10)....Cannot wait to try the "Philly Cheesestake" an the "Club sub". Thank you for anawesome dinner!!! ?? Amazing subs that are packed full of meat and toppings. If you get a whole be prepared for leftovers. I don't know anyone who... could finish one of their whole subs. I got a half and couldn't finish it. All 3 of us ordered a variation of their Philly steaksub and we all loved it. We also ordered the poutine which was good after being reheated but unfortunately it came to us verycold, which is the reason I removed one star. The subs were still warm as we only drove 3 minutes away to eat but would haveloved for the poutine to be warm as well. I'd recommend this place to everyone I know who is looking for a great sub. This place used to be fantastic. It still is about 50% of the time. My most recent 2 orders had no sauces, which I ordered... specifically to go with the sandwiches/sides. Poutine was cold. Like COLD cold--cheese bits were straight out of refrigerationand there was clearly no attempt to warm them. The fried pickles I ordered in November are not the ones they've had since. (The ones in November were breaded, not heavily battered. Personal preference, but you can get heavily battered anythinganywhere in the valley--it was nice to have something fried that was a touch lighter and WAY more flavorful.) The fries areconsistently excellent. The pierogies were initially out of this world--spiced for max flavor and fried to perfection. Butthey've since grown floppy and bland. Fortunately these are all things that can be fixed. And hopefully will be. My advice:Stay away when it's busy--these are the times they rush and you end up with cold and/or missing food.
