Randomly found this place on Google while passing through town, and I'm so glad we stopped. It's this cute little tavern with... retro / almost art deco decorations. Their menu was typical for your standard American restaurant - apps, sandwiches, burgers,salads, etc. Our server was very friendly, and our food came out so fast. The BLT was massive! I couldn't even finish it. Theydid have very limited beer selections - like 4 drafts, and only 1 was a craft. Either way, I'd still stop back in if I was inthe area. Read more

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at The Terminal (June 4, 2022) and could not be more thrilled with the layout, the... food and the service. It was so easy because they did virtually everything: covered tables and chairs, buffet foods,non-alcoholic drinks, bartender service both in room and in restaurant - even putting out a standing placard to direct the guestto the entrance of the party. The food was incredible, the room was elegant and the servers/bartenders were friendly andhelpful. Everything was effortless for us, allowing us to just enjoy the evening. So we were looking for a place to eat near Capitol Theater so we got on Google Maps and Found this "Diamond in the Rough" . So... we walked in and seen many tables filled and tables with Reserved ,but they still found us a nice little table. Menu's in handimmediately and drinks and Appetizers right away. My wife ordered the Shrimp Basket(Outstanding)and I Ordered The Reuben (Oneof the Best I ever had especially with Mustard) we sat next to two regular customers who said make sure you save room for thePie. OK so without a doubt: The Bridge Tavern & Grill truly does have one of the best burgers in Wheeling WV. I really like that the... lettuce, tomato, and onion was fresh ...... OUTSTANDING ????. In addition the "Philly Tatchos" was an absolute treat withgrilled green peppers & onions, cheese sauce with philly steak, and tater tots was awesome. Stopped in on a rainy Tuesday evening for dinner on our way through Wheeling. It was the best Reuben I've had in years (with... good beer on draft to boot). The staff and owners are out of this world friendly, funny, nice people. The place has awesomedecor, a long history, and great music. The location is awesome, too. Love, love, love Bridge Tavern!!! I can't say enough about how much I love this place! The people are amazing! The food is... amazing! The atmosphere is amazing! The drinks are amazing! Family and kid friendly. My 10 year old grandson loved it! Pricesare very reasonable for food and drinks. Easy access into the tavern from the sidewalk with on street parking. Very clean!Masks are required to enter. Employees wear masks. Right across from the historic suspension bridge in Wheeling's historicdowntown district. Stopped in for a quick pint after exploring downtown on a Friday afternoon on my way home from Kentucky to Philly for an... overnight at the local McClure Hotel. Soon realized that this was the place to be in downtown Wheeling as the bartender (Joey)and owner (Mike) warmly welcomed me and introduced me the the regulars at the bar-restaurant. Although I didn't dine on thisoccasion it was obvious the patrons were very satisfied with their entrees and appetizers.
