Neighborhood pizza place. Seating can accommodate larger groups by pushing the tables together. Service was very friendly.
I loved their pizza. Small locally owned pizza place, giving an authentic feel when you want a local place to eat. I ordered... half sausage half cheese. Also ordered cheesy bread, good stuff! Thin crust is what they serve and over all a really good pizza.The sausage is perfect size not huge and not tiny balls like franchise pizza. They put enough sauce on that you can actuallytaste the sauce, cheese and sausage. The dinning area is a cozy spot with slot machines while you wait. Great place for a classic Chicago tavern style pizza. Pizza is super thin and crust is crispy with a very distinct flavor. The... sauce is sweet with a bit of a kick. The sausage is packed with flavor. They serve RC Cola in a can to wash it down. A reallygreat old school place. Read more
At the time of this review. I have been coming here for 17 years! Hands down one of the best pizza places in the Chicago area.... Simple food, simple ingredients, cooked perfectly everytime. I ordered a large pepperoni thin crust pizza for takeout one night. When I got home the pizza had cooled off a little so i put... it back in the oven to heat up. Once it was hot, I had some and it was good, but I dont think it was worth it. The pizza crusthad a nice crunch and the sauce was tasty. But for whatever reason the cheese tasted kind of bland and made for a somewhat dullbite! I wish I had better things to say, but this was just not my favorite. Glad i got to try it! Read more
