We had an awesome family gathering at Forgotten Cider! Great people making some great cider!
Great atmosphere and great cider. Dogs are welcome outdoors.
This place is off the beaten path, but it's not hard to find. They grow the apples right there at the same place the tasting... room is located. Seating is nice in that you can sit inside our outside (in the designated outdoor area). The atmosphere isvery friendly. I've had questions that the server couldn't answer so they went and got the owner lady. She was super friendlyand helpful. The ciders themselves are dry for the most part. Their specialty seems to be ciders made from red fleshed appleswhich makes a red colored cider. They do have some other ciders that are sweeter or flavored with delicious syrups and some nonalcoholic choices for those underage (soda, water). The last time I visited, they even had a live band though I believe thatwas a special event and they don't regularly have live music. The hours are a bit tight. They are only open one day per week,only from spring to fall, and close fairly early in the evening. Read more
NOTE: Open only on Saturdays! Found this gem of a place by just searching "winery" on a Saturday and to my luck, forgotten cider... was the closest one. This place is really amazing. They have a variety of dry ciders made from a range of apples on their farm.All dry ciders, but can be made semi sweet by the fruit syrups they offer. The staff is really friendly. Read more
