Back at one of the old favorite and it?s still good. (It must been several years since last visit.). The Shrimp Wontan Noodle... Soup has been the reason for us to come here. The price went up but the noodle portion got bigger. The roast duck was goodtoo. I think they used to offer combo platter with duck, pork and chicken. It has been awhile since my revisit, but everything tastes the same and plentiful. I do want to add that the prices have... increased a lot. I much rather pay more to get what I want to go for any bargain food anyway. Keep up the good quality! Read more
If there was an option for me to choose 0 star, I would go for it right away without thinking. A cockroach came up to the table... right after we sit down, and the waitress walked by like nothing happened. Also, honestly speaking, the food was not that good,but the serving attitude was even worse. They kept rushing us disrespectfully, and used their cranky MOM attitude to rush andask us to pack and pay even it was still 30 minutes away from their closing time. I felt very uncomfortable to be a customer inthis restaurant, and I definitely DO NOT recommend this place to y?all. Read more
First time customer, two cockroaches on our table from start to end. Food is ok. But when we get the check, they just stand by... staring and asking to sign asap. Feel like I got disrespected and they keep asking if we need box and starring with a not nicelook cause they are 10 minutes to close. It?s my first time feel so uncomfortable in restaurants. 4.5 for legit Cantonese/Hong Kong style Beef chow fun and Wonton Noodle soup ($13). The noodle is al dented and the soup was... piping hot with full flavor. My mom always asks to eat here when she visits from Florida, claiming it's the best bowl of wontonnoodle she has in the US. There's even hard to find, ginger scallion Duck blood stir fry. Weve been eating here for over adecade and almost forgot about them due to COVID. Glad we came back today. Don't let the dated decor deter you from the food.There's also hanging whole roast duck and the usual Cantonese fare. You can tell the Sifu(chef) is a seasoned chef as thestirfry served quickly and fresh/hot. Give this low key family restaurant a try. Read more
The food is very authentic Cantonese. They have one of the best wonton beef noodle soup and kingdom pork chop in this part of... town. The roast duck and roast pork are also up to par. Been there for carry out many times and finally ate there last night.Was not impressed by their salted fish chicken fried rice nor the eggplant salted fish casserole. But the clams in black beansauce and beef chow foon is also highly recommendable. The place and service is mediocre as expected of a Chinese place butit?s definitely not a hole in the wall. Could be a bit tight if it was filled but it?s mostly carry out. And I mean seriouslybusy carry out so that is a good sign!!! Read more
I had the Cantonese style egg noodle soup. It was topped with the most tender roast pork I've ever had. One is given the... option to add wontons stuffed with pork and shrimp,. So I did. That's a no brainer. The egg noodles were plentiful and cookedto chewy perfection. Last but not least the simple, savory flavor of the beef broth cooked made me wish I had room for more! This broth also had a mild sweetness that I've never had in a soup before. Now all this goodness is packed in just one bowl. Their menu is filled with so many authentic style Cantonese cuisine. The best Chinese/Hong Kong style restaurant in MD!! Highly recommend their Wonton Noodle Soup, Seafood Pan Fried Noodles, Baby... Clams in Black Bean Sauce, Beef Brisket and Deep-Fried Shell-On Shrimps with Spicy Salt. Majority of their dishes aredelicious, you can?t go wrong.
