I have visited this establishment literally four Saturdays in a row at opening time. And the garbage at the East entrance doors... has yet to be cleaned and emptied. The soda stains on the sidewalk that you have to walk into to get into the restaurant looksvery disgusting and has yet to be cleaned also. As you walk into the establishment the lobby needs a deep clean and morewelcoming staff. As I enjoyed my root beer float I could see the locals were treated like gold and the travelers were treatedlike what do you want people, next please. I have visited my share of A & W's and this one seems to be the most unorganized andfalling apart. It needs some TLC to make it more welcoming. Read more
Floors & every table in the place was dirty. When I let them know all 3 trash cans were full only 2 were emptied. Food was Luke... warm. Only thing good was the root beer. Worst service I?ve ever seen!!! Sat in the drive through for 45mins at the window after already paying. Finally when the gal... opens the window to give us our food she just shoves into my hand smashing the soda and all she does is giggle and say ?sorry?. Asked for napkins to clean up the mess and she responds still giggling ?oh there?s napkins in the bag?. Read more
I see the owner is active. So I hope this finds them. First, love A&W, float was amazing like always. Second, we went to use my... birthday reward, but there are no scanners, it's a let down when franchises are not consistent with their chains. 3rd, I givethis a 5-star because of Mike, elder gentleman working the register. Food is not what I remember, not great at all. Three sandwiches, 2 drinks and one side = $40.... most of which went to the... trash... greasy nasty and everything had a "fishy" flavor. Even the A&W rootbeer that I loved as a child was blah at best,maybe check the machines... it's flat. Definitely need to find a different stop in wheatland. Read more
The workers were friendly and helpful. The food is made when you order so it isn't cold or stale when you get it. The prices... are a bit high but the food and service are good. Read more
04-05-18 Excellent bacon cheeseburger. Fries good too. Best of all I discovered this location makes.... " Makes" their root beer... on site. Wow. Food not know that. Friendly staff. Knowledge, lots of sitting space and a good amount of truck parking. Very nicetruck stop as well. Read more
The food and root beer was delicious as well as reasonably priced. I am a huge fan of A&W, so much so that I refuse to buy any... other type of root beer. I was disappointed because of cleanliness, everything needed a good wipe down and the bathrooms in thegas station it was attached to were absolutely disgusting. I would visit again, but only through the drive through. Read more
