This Smitty's is a Wetaskiwin institution. In particular, I love that the walls are full of art by local native artists.

Worse experience ever. Waitress was advised that there was a fly in the Caesar salad. She apologized and went to talk to the... manager. When she came back she said she was able to cut the cost of one meal. When we went to pay the manager said she wouldcut 10 dollars off the 71 dollar bill. I told her what the waitress told me and she said she made all the decisions. Then shesaid she would cut 99cents for each salad. Food was to be expected from the franchise. When we got our meal, was asked if there was anything else and wanted. Replied we... would like hot sauce for the eggs. The server came back with maybe a tablespoon in a tiny disposable cup of hot sauce,which wasmore than enough. But got a surprise when we got our receipt charged .50 cent for a condiment , seriously?! Very good food, good service and very clean. Can be very hard to get a table on sundays as this seems to be its busiest day
The head waitress was more than accommodating but the table waitress was very distracted.The food served is not as advertised on... pictures. The shredded potatoes were very small fries, the cubed potatoes were very small and not as advertised, the fresh fruitwas canned fruit. I have pictures but no place to attach them. Read more
