I grew up in the area. First visit for my wife. Food was fantastic. Left absolutely stuffed. Wife had the chicken burger and I... had the prime rib. Definitely recommend getting the gravy if you get fries. Staff was friendly and courteous. Will definitely begoing back for another date night. Read more

it’s that small town treat that you always hear about. It’s that warm sunset that you always try to catch. what a great... find. This gem has a ton of history and some great food. I would highly recommend the dill pickle soup. It leaves your mouthsaying “that’s a really good pickle soup”. Brisket sandwich was nice. Would’ve been even better on a pretzel bun anddrop the hummus but besides that the brisket is nicely smoked. Looking forward to my next visit. Read more

This restaurant is fantastic! I've eaten here quite a few times over the years and I've always enjoyed the delicious food. ... Their specials are usually my Go To. Service is always very friendly and quick no matter how busy they are. I look forward totraveling to Wetaskiwin because I get to eat here. Read more

Just stopped in here with some friends while on a trip. The dill pickle soup, like many other reviewers have pointed out, is... just unreal! My main course definitely earned a seal of approval as well. Our server Craig was super chill and accommodatingwhile at the same time not being overbearing. I definitely recommend Huckleberry's. Huckleberry's is the definition of a cowboy themed restaurant. I personally think it should just be titled Huckleberry's... because it is more a restaurant than a cafe. It is quite large, with dining, booths, as well as a bar. The decor andatmosphere is cozy and western. Little touches make the difference and this place is definitely unique. The food was alsoquite tasty. I appreciated how it tasted very homemade and fresh. We especially enjoyed the regular and the dill picklepoutine, yummy!!! My daughter also ordered the salmon and I was completely blown away. Usually, unless you're at the coast, the salmon is a sad, wilted display but here it was plump, juicy and tasted fresh (although I'm sure it was frozen). Very good! The service was also above average. I would definitely recommend. EDIT: Reply from management says salmon is flown in freshwhich would explain a lot! Thanks for the heads up. Read more

What a fabulous dining experience. We took Don's daughter out for her BD. The Waitress was from South Africa and totally... awesome, friendly and went out of her way to help Charmaine with gluten and lactose free choices. The steaks were tender andjuicy. Dessert was this native presentation of rice pudding with almonds on real wood slabs. Read more
